Great review thanks, but how are you getting the display clear enough to read the HSI? I'm really struggling, it just all looks blurry. My cockpit display is 1080, high textures and a PD of 1.8.

Any suggestions please?

Thanks

Great stuff. Thanks for putting this together. I'm getting it next month.

My full time job with the family, house etc I can't justify it in the budget. So I've been scrubbing dishes at a gastro pub in the evenings to get the money together. 2 more shifts and I have the cash.

I used both CV1 and 'S' and did not find a noticeable quality change outside the cockpit. What I saw inside the cockpit was a bit clearer text however with my CV1 I'm able to read pretty much the same text but only a bit less clear. What was happening was my right lens sweet spot could not be made to line up with my right eye because of the inability to physically adjust the lens position as you can with the CV1. I tried a second 'S' thinking there may be a defect with the first and had the same issue.

So I'll just have to wait for an adjustable IPD.

You say you can spot target at distance (like MiG-29, Su-27 etc ...), you mean the shape of them or a dot on screen (given the fact that you already know there're MiG/Su inbound through RWR) ?
