mytai01 Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 I don't know where to put this, but I'm noticing that the mission briefings are pretty poor. Filled with all kinds of inaccurate information. mytai01 Posted July 15, 2019 Author Posted July 15, 2019 (edited) Mission 5 of the Gazelle Campaign...In this mission, you're tasked to go out and find a convoy and destroy a specific vehicle in it and mop up the rest. There is no picture of the target (or even one like it) nor the target area, there is no point of origin or destination or route shown on a map of the convoy, yet they tell you it's going to pass WP8 at 1:20AM and 32.25 seconds. When Meatboy1 spots the target, he doesn't bother to give a bearing and distance to target, so you have no idea where to look. This is the kind of stuff that makes for fantasy missions and not realistic missions...pure frustrating BS. I realize that there are limitations to the game engine and the knowledge and imagination of mission developers. It's just super frustrating... mytai01 Posted July 17, 2019 Author Posted July 17, 2019 I found out what the problem was about the briefings in the game. They're inaccurate!!! The only accurate briefing is in a pdf file that's in the Gazelle folder. The in game briefing is daft... KTFBGB Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 There is an encyclopedia of all vehicles and weapons systems in the game. You can look up what it looks like (study sim after all). You said that it gave you an exact time the target would be passing waypoint 8. So I would be at waypoint 8 at that exact time to pick out the vehicle you are supposed to eliminate. It sounds pretty straight forward to me.
Shadow KT Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 You can address any campaign issues with the creators of the campaign, it is up to them what they will include in the in-game briefing 'Shadow' Everybody gotta be offended and take it personally now-a-days

Kang Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 The actual briefing should stay on your screen until you click to proceed at mission start, though.
KTFBGB Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 The actual briefing should stay on your screen until you click to proceed at mission start, though. We are talking about the mission briefings not radio traffic text. The briefing is the part you read with pictures before you click fly. And once in mission you can pause and click on briefing and read again as many times as you wish.
