My wishes (for FC2):

 

1. Add some sort of 3D rendering preview to the mission designer. That way if you're carefully placing buildings or ground vehicles on an airfield, FARP or around a particular location it would be possible to have a 3D preview of what the positioning looks like in-game, rather than having to jump in & out of the mission constantly to adjust the position & direction of the placed objects.

 

2. Addition of the following trigger conditions: Group In Zone, Group In Moving Zone, Unit has Landed, Group has Landed.

 

3. Bring back the Crimea, with all the airfields, cities, towns etc. etc.

 

4. Addition of the new AI system from DCS A-10C.

 

5. Addition of the new graphics system from DCS-A10C.

 

6. Make the sim natively take advantage of multi-core CPUs. I know that in DCS-Black Shark and DCS A-10, manually giving the SIM affinity to all the cores of the CPU can make a big difference to the frame rate (I get increases of up to 50% :shocking:), but it would be nice if the game engine took advantage of this automatically. Obviously this is very non-trivial and would probably require a huge re-write of the code, but it would be nice...

 

7. Include min & max weapons ranges for artillery & MLRS systems. I guess some of this will be classified, but having at least an in-game maximum would help for mission design.

Great wishlist! If only 3 will be realized that already would be fine.

Being able to Pilot the legendary

 

Grunman F-14 Tomcat D

Which includes :

- VF-84 "Jolly Rogers" Squadron paintings

- Being able to take off from a carrier, like the Sukhoi33, so american aircrafts fanboys would enjoy the same fun as the Russian aircrafts fans.

 

 

And then.....

Add more ground traffic, more buildings, and make the pilot looking more human when he is walking on the ground. He so looks like C3PO, and that would be great if he could run, and strafe, and change direction, and have a chance to escape from the ennemies on the ground, walk back to the base (or get a lift from allies vehicules eventually) and then grab another aircraft and take off again from the base if you can walk back to the base and manage to stay alive.

External views disable in options to fly a mission.

 

But, if you go to "spectators" enable external views for spectators, but not for pilots.

the game engine already does this, no need for you to set CPU affinity manually :music_whistling:

 

If you are referring to multithreading then that's another story, but even now sound engine runs on different threat to sim engine

Wish of the century :clap_2: how many times have u seen "behind ennemy lines"?

 

Every time you eject , call windows task bar, switch to "Far Cry" and then switch again to the sim once you get to the base, and take off :D

1. Bring back the LO/FC1 interactive 3D & imagery functionality in Loadout (& skin) settings window (and encyclopedia again too why not)

 

2. Make training again through flyable missiions or at least update the playback interface with some pause/play button & keep original video aspect ratio and add higher resolution videos

Playing it through now for a second time and the dynamic is such that it's wholly different this time around.......

 

And the Immersion is Outstanding: At the time of taking this Pic I just got off being jumped by a Blood-Sucker. Couple that with Night fast approaching and you'll know why this Thunderstorm made me Spill my Coffee the first time the Lightning struck.........No game thus far has given me that "Hollow" Feeling in the Pit of my Stomach whilst going about my business attempting to survive in the ZONE, all the while looking over my Shoulder.......

 

Should a Flight Sim strive to inject that Feeling of Humanity one gets from S.T.A.L.K.E.R., albeit obviously from a different perspective, then I'll be a very happy man indeed!

A good replay functions, with forward, backward, and a slide to select wich second you want to replay, and not only from the beginning

I wish for the "return of the general visibility slider" to weather editor!

 

Back with FC1.12a I always had it @ 30 clicks 'cause skies in LOFC seemed a bit too clear and transparent if vis >30. If you look some weather forecast websites you'll notice that visibility IRL is often below 20km.

 

So I kinda miss those reduced vis skies with FC2...

I think it'd be cool to have c-17s fly off to a small airstrip to deliver supplies, watch the doors open as tanks roll out or jeeps or even just normal supplies, that or air drops would be amazing.

(mabey never) but if you have a f-18, and take off from CVN. man you can have another (MIDWAY). now that will be cool. i think it not happen its an AF and thay will be out gunned.i think thats why , thay only gave the west two birds./carrier on carrier,man that will be nice.

That's more slammers than an F-15 can carry. ;)

(It pays heavily for it in parasitic drag, though.)

Anyhow, getting new aircraft into FC is something I'd rate as very very unlikely. ED's focus is DCS.

 

Would be nice to have the SU-25 and SU-25T imported into the DCS world ??..

 

Some people might argue that these two aircraft in their current FC level of modelling simply just do not belong in the high fedelity DCS world.

 

Personally i'd pay again for these two aircraft to be included, simply because their amazing and their basic avionics/flaws (like the KA-50) is what makes them so interesting to fly and fight.
