HungaroJET Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 WOW...Looks Fantastic  Atop the midnight tarmac, a metal beast awaits. To be flown below the radar, to bring the enemy his fate. vadIL Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Falcon for avionics.. FSX for Graphics Lockon for nothing! Go FighterOPS! 1
The_GOZR Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Lockon for netcode because microsoft netcode is seriously bad.
Kusch Posted October 4, 2007 Author Posted October 4, 2007 Go FighterOPS! Go FighterOPS! Go for mug! :D Give me "flying telephone pole" (SA-2)!
some1 Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Lockon for nothing! Even FSX with DX10 don't have heat blur, canopy scratches, mirrors, cloud shadows and has very poor landing lights. Not to mention lack of decent flyable Su-27. :smilewink: Hardware: VPForce Rhino, FSSB R3 Ultra, Virpil WarBRD, Hotas Warthog, Winwing F15EX, Slaw Rudder, GVL224 Trio Throttle, Thrustmaster MFDs, Saitek Trim wheel, Trackir 5, Quest Pro
SUBS17 Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Acceleration looks awesome I'm definately getting it as I'm hoping finally they'll have done something to fix the fast jet FM. [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]
SUBS17 Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Falcon for avionics.. FSX for Graphics Lockon for nothing! Go FighterOPS! All those sims rock but so far LO still has some of the best graphics features. FSX ain't just good graphics either it has some very good missions and trainning packages. FO will be a while yet before thats released. [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]

FO will be a while yet before thats released. to bad, lockon has that bad coding! without support of duel core! While i getting 70+ fps on FSX ill get 18 fps near the ground with lockon after 30 mins playing public server!!
TorwaK Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Yes it looks nice. How about avionics? ;) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Intel Core i7-6700K, @5GHz | Asus Maximus Hero VIII | 2 x eVGA GTX 970 SLI | Kingston Predator 16GB DDR4-3000Mhz | 2 x Samsung 850 PRO 240GB RAID-0 | AOC G2460PG G-SYNC LCD | OCULUS RIFT CV1 VR | THRUSTMASTER HOTAS WARTHOG | CH PRO PEDALS
britgliderpilot Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Mmmn. I don't care about what it lacks - I'm going to buy it for more Red Bull Air Races in the Extra, and pylon racing in the P-51. The RBAR in FSX - and beating the clock in it - is one of the most challenging pieces of flying I've ever done. I still actually get a bit of adrenaline surge as I'm going through the last couple of turns towards the finish on a fast run . . . . *looks embarassed* . . . http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v121/britgliderpilot/BS2Britgliderpilot-1.jpg
S77th-GOYA Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Yep, the Red Bull course is fun. That plane is responsive as hell. The touch-and-go is the hardest part for me. The flight models in FSX are still pretty weak, even for the big iron. FS11 needs to concentrate on FM and ATC, IMO. But you can't ignore that eyecandy sells. Speaking of graphics, anybody here tried Flight Environment X yet?
ED Team Groove Posted October 4, 2007 ED Team Posted October 4, 2007 Hmm, looks too shiny for me. Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en
S77th-GOYA Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Hmm, looks too shiny for me. lol Agreed. The reflectiveness looks great on a B-29 but it's like they never heard of non-reflective paint.

Speaking of graphics, anybody here tried Flight Environment X yet? For me the hardest mission is trying to land the R22 on the Yacht that thing keeps jinking all over the place you have to be extremely good to land on it. [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]
Highwayman-Ed Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 oh yeah, man that was hard... for ages I crept up on it only to have it stop change course by 60 degrees and start moving again just as I was descending... That could have done with an Advanced Yacht Model ;) Intel i9-9900KF @5.2GHz MSI Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon 32GB G.Skill Trident Z DDR3200 RAM MSI RTX 2080 Ti Gaming X Trio 40" Panasonic TH-40DX600U @ 4K Pimax Vision 8K Plus / Oculus Rift CV1 / HTC Vive Gametrix JetSeat with SimShaker Windows 10 64 Bit Home Edition [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
S77th-GOYA Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Yep, that mission is pretty hard. I found it best to hurry over to the yacht because it goes pretty straight and steady until it gets to the bay. It still took me several tries. The Yakutat Mail Run is very challenging too. I'd never used that ILS system before so I was kinda lost. Flying blind in an unfamiliar bird with engine problems is not easy. :joystick: I love how the co-pilot says, "These engines sound funny to you?" You immediately go, Oh, sh**t, here it comes.
rogue_blade Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Hmm, looks too shiny for me. hey man dont fall into the 'falcon player' attitude [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
SUBS17 Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Speaking of engine problems ever tried the mission where you have to pick up the celebrity and the engine cuts out. Where to land? I like how the nose wheel snaps off after it hits the arrester wires. BTW don't be surprised if someone adds animated ground crew on the deck as FSX supports that kind of eye candy. 1 [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]

A.S Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Falcon for avionics.. FSX for Graphics Lockon for nothing! Go FighterOPS! Well .. i have them all 3 installed :music_whistling: (OF,FSX,FC) but AMEN  PS: is it only me or does it look like Microsoft pushed cash into Virtualreality Superbug ? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
SUBS17 Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Man this dx10 is starting to make the screenshots look quite impressive now I definately need an upgrade. Woah but where are the ground crew:music_whistling:, must be hiding somewhere or maybe some one needs to make some. [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]
S77th-GOYA Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Speaking of engine problems ever tried the mission where you have to pick up the celebrity and the engine cuts out. Where to land? Try using the backup system for the system that fails.
