not surprised..soo Gripen while ya lurking there :P:megalol: any chance of those JAS-39's going to red flag? :)

To be honest I´ve heard a rumor about it (can´t remember from where)...but it´s not in the near future. This year have mostly been focused at Frisian Flag, Lion Effort and the current national air defence exercise.

Have a look at the "office" during the national excercise

Hey, wasn't that one of the guys that were in the television-program Stridspiloterna that was aired in Sweden a while back?

Clustermunitions is just another way of saying that you don't like someone.

I used to like people, then people ruined that for me.

Nifty!

That reminds me that I need to find more shows like that. It's interesting to see how they train pilots in other countries.

Definitely good stuff there.

Here's the Norwegian show about the Norwegian Viper-pilots. Mind you, it's in Norwegian without subtitles, so it'll be gibberish to anyone not knowing the language.

“Mustang” with yellow/orange wheels.

Wooden wheels are attached to a P-51 “Mustang” fighter plane, so it may be moved around the ramp at the Inglewood, California plant of North American Aviation, Incorportated. When it is ready for flight tests, regular landing wheels with rubber tires will be substituted.

Apparently old news; sorry if it's a repost.

Prototype hoverbike could soar to 3km altitude at 173mph:

An Australian chap named Chris Malloy has built a hoverbike from motorbike parts, which he claims can fly at 173mph at an altitude of 3,000 metres.

Those are theoretical figures for the time being, because it hasn't flown too far yet. Instead they're based on the device's thrust-to-weight ratio, which is extremely high thanks to how little weight it carries. [...]
