Enable invincible mode for the Su-25 and Su-25T. It is good to have a choice. You done need to use the mode if you find it stupid, but I'm getting sick of editring my pilot file to bring him back to life.

Back in 1998, we used to call this a "simulator"

I will never call anything a simulator again because in 5-6 years from now I will feel silly once again for doing so :D

Hey isn't that Fighter's Anthology? My P166 never could quite handle those clouds. :surrender: lol

Perhaps patch 1.13 can fix some of the bugs in the mp_log and/or add more information to it.

  • fix: game exits are not always logged
  • fix: landing on roads are shown as landing on the nearest airbase
  • add: log player take-offs

I can confirm that there are problems, the game freezes most of the time when I load a mission on my system (Vista32).

Besides that vista 32 hogs memory of about 650mb just doing nothing on a new reboot of TWO similar HP notebooks and that is with extra crap removed.

A similar XP media center OS will use about 450mb on a start up with antivirus and crap removed. In addition to that moving around in the laptops OS is much more faster and responsive than trying to do anything in a vista laptop that has 1GB of memory.

Now a desktop will have a faster harddrive and should have a more efficient motherboard, you will improvemnet with vista on a desktop but if your gaming you better have the 3 or 4 gb of memory.

QUESTION? IS LOMAC being run in XP compadibilty mode in vista? Has anyone tried that and just pretend Vista isnt supposed to behave without taking some kind of action to force it?

- i'd like to suggest one or two intermediate visibility range settings between high and "medium" .... ("high" severely kills my framerates and smoothness and medium is rediculously short both in terms of reality feel and spoting the target on time (shows up only in unrelastically very close range)

- the full shadow bug would be nice to be fixed

How about implementing dynamic weather ? Wouldn't it be great to take off in bright sunshine and come back in a thunderstorm 40 min later ?

And this also would mean different weather in different areas of the Crimean map.

I keep cruising the FC map area in FSX with REX and ASE (realistic clouds and active weather) installed. What a difference those skies make to the experience!! I keep looking down at the ground through the clouds as their formations and types and quantities change and think: Wouldn't this make the A2G experience more demanding! OR: Sure. Just try spotting that AAM or SAM coming to get you through those layers.

UP UP AND AWAY!

New to this forum so forgive me for what I am about to say. After two years of waiting and also wishing about their effort to continue support and enlighten the LO/FC fans there is romor there won`t be a 1.13 Patch for LO/FC. Maybe I`m wrong but I Thought you people should know.

Between other things.....

A NATO multirole aircrafts like the F/A-18 or F-16 but that wish will be impossible because ED say "We will not add more aircrafts", so..... Nevermind........

I think it is about time that ED just steps up and tells everyone. No patch 1.13 instead of all their foolishness. They know, so have some respect for customer and tell us. End all this speculation now, it's been long over due.:(

I think it's about time you should stop telling ED what to do ;)

I concur with Mugatu. Unlike that guy who didn't concur!

But no, I'm not going to lock it.
