lefty1117 Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Is it possible to get gbu's to use jtac lase to hit targets? ============================= i7 5820k | 32GB RAM | Nvidia 2070RTX | 1TB SSD
hancerPL Posted October 6, 2019 Posted October 6, 2019 It works, but only with the standard 1688 laser code. If the code is set to another one, it won't work anymore. You can't change the code on the bombs only in the ME. Specialization A-10C https://vbw304.pl/
bart Posted October 6, 2019 Posted October 6, 2019 Anyone know how to check/change the bomb code on an instant mission? I have been messing around with LGB's in a fast mission and I set the laser code on the pod to 1688. Find a target and drop the bomb in CCRP, fire the laser (I have the flashing "L" on the TGP screen and on the HUD), but every time the bomb explodes within the vicinity of the target but never on it. I can only assume the code on the bomb is different but I don't know how to check this on an Instant Action mission.. Eldur Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Laser codes can only be changed in the mission editor at the moment. In the future it will be changeable on the ground in game Now I'm curious. In the Hornet we can set it via the UFC, why doesn't that possibility exist in the Viper as well?
Greyman Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 because apparently the pilot can't change the code from the cockpit in RL, so the hornet will probably lose that functionality once a ground-based method is devised.
