DCS Hornet is the culmination of more than 40 man years of intense research, technology development, art creation, and ground-breaking coding. The Hornet brings the first, true, multi-role fighter to the skies of DCS World with equally impressive air-to-surface and air-to-air capabilities.

DCS: F/A-18C Hornet is initially being released as Early Access, with several features to be added during the Early Access period. This includes several sensors, weapons, and sub-systems. But since last december, anyone not seen new feature.

Keep in mind that holidays in Russia are in January. Most of the team was off. Instead of focusing on the last update, you better look forward to February, especially with the last newsletter saying that we can expect a big update (2.5.6...) in early February.

IMHO only thing that is really missing is a new Mini-Update with some intel. Next features, estimated timeline, change of priority for both the Hornet and Viper. The Newsletter last Friday was a bit a bummer for not WWII guys.

True, but our propeller guys are a little bit short of content in DCS and they need more variety keep them addicted. My brother primarily flies warbirds and he loves the WW2 planes in DCS, but is somehow disappionted about the maps, available servers and the asset pack. I was afraid he may leave DCS behind in favor for a different WW2 sim and i´m very happy about the newsletter, as he is very excited about it and can´t wait for the new map and asset pack content. I want him to stay, because i´m still trying to make him purchase the Hornet in order to addict him to modern jets and the newsletter gave me hope :thumbup:

And now see OB list again...it was not an update for Hornet, it was just bug fixes.

As mentioned by others we had the xmas and new years break, we are now preparing 2.5.6

 

We will update you all with progress as it happens this year.
