FalconPlot16 Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 When I was flying very low or landing i'm starting to shake and rudder is trying to stabilize as far as i understood. What is that effect ? Ground effect or turbulence ?
razo+r Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 I vote for turbulence. Check the briefing for confirmation.
FalconPlot16 Posted January 29, 2020 Author Posted January 29, 2020 Turbulence is on when i was shaking. Its probably the turbulence but i need to make sure.
Richard Dastardly Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 Ground effect should just make you floaty, I'd say that's turbulence. The Hornet does do the opposite of "floaty" at really low level though, in my experience... The adversed ground effect for the Hornet has been fixed recently (in the Open Beta at least). FalconPlot16 Posted January 30, 2020 Author Posted January 30, 2020 (edited) I'm gonna ask something else. Is that normal that I can't trim the pitch if i'm too heavy ? I know i couldn't calculated the fuel and mission was completed very quickly, i had 95-100% fuel (9500 lbs) no stores except 2 sparrows on fusalege while i was landing i couldn't trimmed the nose it just didn't responded my actions. FalconPlot16 Posted January 30, 2020 Author Posted January 30, 2020 (edited) You sure your flaps were down? Yes. Is might be the stick issue? I mean it may have not been centered. I don't have joystick atm. Edited January 30, 2020 by FalconPlot16

FalconPlot16 Posted January 30, 2020 Author Posted January 30, 2020 Strange. Will check it out tomorrow again.
victorlima01 Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 longitudinal Trim only works with flap switch in the down position. Not sure if gear handle plays a part. But in auto longitudinal trim does nothing.

It was definitely announced though: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4115882&postcount=176 Maybe I got confused there and the fix has not been released yet :dunno: Edited January 31, 2020 by QuiGon Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

Fri13 Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 How you get even turbulence in the DCS? I can max out all but only thing that really gets effected is wing speed and direction. I don't get turbulence, air pockets etc at all. i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K.

I don't get turbulence, air pockets etc at all. There's a seperate option in the weather menue in the ME called "Turbulence" in m/s. Pump it up and you'll get a bumpy ride. But this is for all phases throughout the flight. There are no real air pockets or dynamic turbulence. There's only that shaking that you've set with this option.

Just got sucked into the ground again tonight.
