Has anyone had this before? Sometimes, when an unit is CLEARLY not inside the moving zone set in the trigger, the trigger "fires" anyway. It's very hard to reproduce and I cannot attach any examples. I'm just hoping someone had this before and has a solution. It's driving me crazy. :joystick:

Deleting the trigger, saving the mission, then adding the trigger again helps, but only for a while.

Now a new one came up: a goup has "push wp 2" and "push wp3" as triggered actions. When I SET push wp 2, they go full burner and push wp 3. It used to work before, thested a 100 times.

I'm starting to feel like trying to plug 11 holes with 10 fingers :(

In terms of the triggered actions, did you clone "push wp 2", then rename the new action to "push wp3"? I've found that this doesn't work, it just overwrites the previous action as the new one (or vice versa). I've found I always have to create a new action, not clone.

Ha! Yes, that's what I did. Damn, good to know these tricks, thank you!

Seldo, I just re-did my missions, first deleting the tasks, then creating them one by one, and now it works! I had a mission where the AI flight changes wp like 6 times, and it never worked properly. Now it does! Thank you so much for the help! Now I only wish this unit inside moving zone was working 100% of the time :)

IIRC the moving zone is cylindrical and banks with the aircraft it is centred on. So if it points the lift vector at someone that someone will be in the moving zone.

Oh no, really? That would explain a lot of things, though. I'll insert some other conditions, then. Thanks!

I once spent about 5 hours on a mission, carefully doing this to make about 150 radio transmissions emit from a flying aircraft, only do discover all of that work was trashed :-)

(I had made a triggered action, made it play a radio transmission (setting frequency, modulation, sound, power, etc..., cloned it and selected a new file for each, only to discover that in the end, they ALL were the same!

I've got the same problem several times!
This must be one of the most important tips to prevent mission creators from going crazy!

Thanks buddy! 👍
