Nealius Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 Currently when the intercooler doors or open, the inside is shown as the typical Interior Green color used on the inside of USAAF aircraft. This is incorrect. All period reference photos I can find show that the inside of the intercooler cavity is painted the same as the exterior of the aircraft and duplicates the USAAF roundel so that the insignia is left relatively intact regardless of intercooler door position.
Enduro14 Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 So OP is correct this is the p47 at museum here in Colorado Springs that still fly’s:thumbup: Intel 8700k @5ghz, 32gb ram, 1080ti, Rift S

Nealius Posted July 16, 2020 Author Posted July 16, 2020 I honestly didn't notice myself until I put together a 1:48 P-47D-25 model kit. I sat there for a second looking at the model and the instructions and thought, "wait a minute, weren't they green in DCS?"
