ZeroReady Posted August 23, 2020 Posted August 23, 2020 My friend has 1070 6GB. He's usually at 30-40 fps. In Windows task manager it shows only 40% of GPU being used. I have a 1060 6gb. I get around 50-60 fps and am using 100% of GPU. We've been over our DCS and Nvidia settings and we matched everything up. Other games seem to run just fine for him. We are also trying to get a liberation co-op campaign up and running. When I run it in either single player or hosting MP, I can get it to run at at a comfortable 40 fps by turning off the smoke and culling to 200 km. When he hosts or joins mine he is at anywhere from 1-20 fps while I'm at 40+. We can't figure out why he's getting worse performance than me when he has a better GPU.

There are so many things that can effect this. Some idea may be that he may have some other bottleneck. From RAM or CPU or could be anything. Could be Windows setting. Svsmokey Posted August 23, 2020 Posted August 23, 2020 Yeah , not a lot to go by...Windows settings ( game mode off , power vs performance to performance , pagefile settings ) Nvidea (max performance) and Bios settings (XMP on , hyperthreading off , o'clocking ) as well as hardware differences (memory speed , motherboard , cpu) can make all the difference . imacken Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 I have vsync on (frame limited to 58) and my GPU is usually at max running at 4K. Just crank your settings up!
