Foka Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 Coolie is not a problem. Mic switch is real pain, because on idle throttle "dwon" is "dow, a bit forward", but on full throttle it's "almost aft". Same goes with front/aft. If you have work 3 radios during flight it can mix up. And I don't get that need of switching MFCDs, mainly because of placement of TGP and Mav pages. Do you know, you can change pages layout on each MFCD?
QuiGon Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 I would find it pretty akward and annoying if I would have to press LONG to cycle through the MFD pages, so I think it's much better to have the short presses for that. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
Hive Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 Switching the SOI and between MFCD pages should both be possible with short presses in an ideal world. The HOTAS needs more buttons, I guess :D
eaglecash867 Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 And I don't get that need of switching MFCDs, mainly because of placement of TGP and Mav pages. Do you know, you can change pages layout on each MFCD? Can you do that with a single press of a switch that is functioning exactly like it does in the real aircraft? Never had a need to change page layout. I don't spend much time looking at pages other than the sensors. I have a Warthog HOTAS, so I'd rather stick with how the controls are laid out on the real thing. It all comes down to muscle memory. With enough repetition, you can become comfortable with how the switches work. What I had the hardest time with when going to the A-10C II module was the reversal of left-right mouse button functions for interacting with the virtual cockpit. But that too is easily overcome with a little practice and repetition. :D EVGA Z690 Classified, Intel i9 12900KS Alder Lake processor, MSI MAG Core Liquid 360R V2 AIO Liquid CPU Cooler, G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series 64GB DDR5 6400 memory, EVGA RTX3090 FTW3 Ultra 24GB video card, Samsung 980PRO 1TB M2.2280 SSD for Windows 10 64-bit OS, Samsung 980PRO 2TB M2.2280 SSD for program files, LG WH14NS40 Blu-Ray burner. BuzzU Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 (edited) Make duplicate entries for left at left, left-up and left-down positions. Same for right side. That solved all my problems with 8 way hats. How did you get it programmed like that. We can only program one switch move. If I try to program left-up it will erase left. I can't see a way to add left-up and left-down to left. Help! Edited October 9, 2020 by BuzzU Buzz

Then double click command you want to bind, click hat_left and then click OK. Then double click the same command, hold hat_left_up and while holding click OK. Then double click the same command, hold hat_left_down and while holding click OK. Edited October 9, 2020 by =4c=Nikola Do not expect fairness.
