What do these numbers mean on the HSI?

Just noticed the numbers ringed in red on the attachment that come on when the WYPT button is highlighted.

Anyone any idea what they mean?

It's fuel quantity you'll have, when you reach this waypoint with current fuel consumption.

The number below the calculated fuel remaining is the calculated distance to the waypoint you should begin descent at your current altitude.

I hope you don't mind if I add a question. In the example, in the 'SCL 20' what does the 20 mean? Is the entire vertical distance of the map = 20 miles. Is it just the distance from the plane symbol to the top edge of the map = 20 miles?

Yes, the latter.

It's the latter, the distance from your jet to the top of the compass.
