Can´t take off from Super carrier

I can´t take off from SC with either version of f-14. Before the A version came out I could manage to take off if I chosed to start at the catapult, but taxing to it and then try to take off never worked. 

How can this be a probem at all?

@developers, please do something asap!!! and if neccessay cooperate with ED to solve it...

Can you give us more details as to what you are doing, so that we can spot the mistake? It works fine for me.

Line up with the cat BEFORE the JBD. Stem on the brakes, eye contact with the yellow shirt director. When he starts waving, release brakes and taxi forward. If there is no yellow shirt, then radio menu - ground crew - request launch.

 

Then just follow his instructions.

@johodg lineup with the cat, approach it as ordered, wings out, full flaps, kneel down, push forward until locked, then spin up and press LShift+U to salute and launch!

It has been working for me and my wingman fine as well.

 

1. Ground crew, request launch.

2. Taxi to a cat. Wait for yellow jacket to wave you in to the shuttle.

3. Kneel before Zod

4. Wings out, set flaps.

5. Shuttle set, move forward to engage shuttle.

6. Spool up

7. Salute

8. Get flung off the carrier at high speed like a chimp flinging poo at zoo visitors.

Thanx for all suggestions, but this is actually what I do (and hundreds of other comibinations just to seek out the problem). Im even stucked when selecting hot start.

The result is the same: salute or request launch or both no differens, nothing happens.

In the hornet there is no problem at all. And one thought that popped up when writing that, Do all of you above also own the hornet? my thought is that there might be some confusion in the sim with certain combinations...

Also what more details can I possibly add?:)

The aircraft is stucked simply put. For me this has partially been a problem since those modules came out but the problem is much worse since a cople of month back. The only things(besides all normal updates) is that the A version came and also that I changed hardware and reinstalled win 10 etc. I can´t tell exactly when the problem got worse unfortunatly.

I suppose the last thing you could try is a repair.  There's been a few updates recently so maybe something went wonky?

Yes I will try that, but I´ve made repairs in the past and the problem has to some extent been present all the time. I strongly feel that it is something that goes wrong i some code part somewhere...

Have you tried saluting using the keybind? (default left shift + u) Otherwise the only thing I can think off is to make sure you're not using 3rd party programs or mods that influence controls (like vaicom etc) and then do a repair if that doesn't work.

@johodgAre you using any mods? Try without them. It's good to do clean command after repair. But first - go to controls and hit Lshift+U to see if you have that binding working there.

Very strange, today it worked perfectly with shift U even with the A version.

It´s a mystery but if it stays like this Im happy and I don´t care why.

One thing remains though, why can´t use a joystick binding to shift-u? I have that mapped and it´s working in the control page  but when on the CAT it does not work whereas shift-u via keyboard do.
