Am I the dumbest guy on the surface of earth?

 

Recently I started dating this younger chick (21 old cutie) from my neighborhood, but shes from a very poor family and shes nothing like me in almost every way.

I have recently left another girl wich I was realy fond of (for good), and Im still afected by that.

 

Now this newer chick only knows me for a few weeks and she already speaks of long term plans with me. gives me the sensation she chosen me as a getaway plan from a difficult life. She works at the mall in a store, and barely has time at weekends to meet me.

 

 

2 days ago she learned I was home alone (the maid was the snitch), and asks me for a private dinner.

 

My answer? "no, not realy" ROFL LMAO :D :D

 

Now shes giving me the silent treatment, the type of wich you get when shes wayting for your next move, but from what I know from her she must be realy mad at me (hot temper). :D

 

 

I am not into the commitement scene due to my past experience. So Im kinda relaxed about this girl who hardly means too much for me beyond friendship anyway.

 

 

So what do you think? Am I realy dumb? :D

Silent treatment is about finding her place in your relationship. Just don't go too emotional. Girls like cooler guys. From what you wrote I believe you're on a very good position. She must really care about you. Wait and you'll see. She's gonna turn mad :D and finally call you. But be carefull if she's really hot temper. Build yourself a dominant postion :D

 

After all we don't know her - you must decide by yourself. Don't take our post too seriously ;)

But if for you really interestingly outsider opinion, you can take my IMHO. If you don't like this girl, tell her about this and don't disturb her mind. May be she really see the husband in you. Any wife must care about husband.

If you like her, you may stop silent treatment yourself.

 

Anyway you are not dumb. It your own life and you may make it as you want.

If the age gap is more than five years then you could mess this girl up big time if you don't tell her the truth. When you're the same age then lying is part of the game LOL. A twenty one year old looking to settle down with someone she hasn't been dating for too long can easily turn into a "Play misty for me" type situation, better tell her it's away matches only (her place not yours) but be careful here too even if she agrees becasue girls can get that "I'm gonna turn this man around bug" and then you're back to square one.

 

Alternatively if she turns out to be a good cook then string her along until you're full lol:pilotfly: :D:D:P:P

Nothing spells freedom like leaving the toilet seat: down. Remember, all a marriage certificate is is a bill for her to take all of your stuff and that dog you used to own when she divorces you, marriage is the leading cause of divorce, and if its not meant to be, its not meant to be. If you want an expensive pet, you go adopt a child...you can always leave em at the adoption center if they misbehave.

 

Best thing about adopted kids: you can demand a foot rub or else. What are they gonna do? LEAVE YOU?!

Im am not rich at all, but since Im am engineer with a salary 2.5 times the minimum wage and shes an attendant at the shop and her mother is dependent of her, shes in economical difficulties. she did ask how much I earn, a question I found to be strange to do to someone she doesnt know (first date).

 

My country has low living standards compared to most of yours so a difference of 500 Euros is a large one (more if I do overtime at weekends, as much as 900 dif.)

 

Cosmo: Shes 21 and Im 31, its a huge age gap, specialy for her. She demonstrated to be completely at ease (even more considering no one would give me the age I actualy have).

 

this has never hapened to me before, not this combo of circunstances and not this fast. I am not asking for advice but for overall comdenation for not accepting her invitation :D

 

My opinion is that I am left with no proper reaction (often making mistakes). I like to think it over and go with the flow over time. Being that young she went way to fast than common sense IMHO, I had no chance at all to prepare, specialy if that night stand in her mind implies a relationship in the same pakage.

Just strange?? If you're not careful bro you're gonna wake up tomorrow with a 21 year old wife and a live in Mother in law :P .

 

Alternatively 2: Try reverse psychology and turn things around on her. Just casually mention how your buddy just got married and his mother in law moved in making his life a living hell. Then add that you would never ever, ever (the more "ever" you add the better ;)) let your mother in law live under the same roof as you.:bash: .. I bet yah she splits with in the hour :P .

The age difference.

I remember being told that the ideal age for a girl is half your age + seven. So if you are 14, she should be 14. If you are 20, she should be 17. If you are 31, she should be 22.5, so her age is not so far out as you think if you believe this formula.

 

It's only been a few weeks....

I would say you are being sensible to take it slow and easy and not rush into things. You have just come out of a relationship and if you are still messed up a little from the last one, it is easy to mess up the next one.

I find that most women just don't "get it" that men are quite happy to spend an evening on their own with a beer and sport on TV. This girl probably imagined you being almost suicidally bored on your own and assumed that you would absolutely love for her to come round for dinner. When you said No she took that as a big rejection and she was hurt by it and is now sulking.

Explain to her that you don't want to mess up things with her by going too fast and seeing each other too much. She just might understand.

Pilot I may be the dumber than you , four years ago I had a friend (she was the hottest girl of the entire campus) she took me walk around, and interestingly enough she directed me to a deserted area of the college (lots of trees and bushes) at the beginning she told me that she needed to collect wood and branches for her "art class project" so I went with her, when we were really out of sight of anyone I asked her " mmm and ...... why did you bring me here.. and she answered me "to rape you" and you may ask what happened next

I told her that I didn't think a woman could rape a man ...... and we went back to the buildings of the school with all the other students and nothing happened. :cry::doh: and because of that I think that God has given up on me and now not even a thirsty mosquito looks at me :cry:

I already told the story. Untill now it has been fairly anonimous, and I realy shouldnt expose her in the back with a picture. It would taking the matter to her personaly. :)
