can not reproduce No fuel tanks via ground crew after last patch

After the last stable patch, you can't load up any fuel tanks via the ground crew/change payload option. If you go to fuel tanks > the next option is empty. If you load an existing payload, the fueltanks were loaded correctly.

Had the same problem last friday in MP. No track.

We took of from Liwa, did CAP and rearmed on Sharjah after we captured it (neutral to blue). We were unable to choose the fuel tanks. The airport had all munitions avaible in the game.

Edit: forgot to add.... Open Beta DCS 2.5.6.61527.3
Edit Numero 2: Clean mission at the start. Could choose the fuel tanks at the beggining. Couldn't rearm them later on

To be more accurate:

- PG map

- no Steam user(s)

With a fresh new clean mission, it works as usual. Do you have an idea, what it brake? It's not a solution, to rebuild a whole and complex mission after each update, right?

Yepp. It seems, anything broke this entry in the payloads.lua (or how this file is named). But it seems to be in your and my mission. With a clean mission, all is fine. I'll test, if it's one of the scripts or the group itself (what would be horrible).

You see, you used the cursed warehouse functionality:

 

When i removed the warehouse file from your mission, it began to work:

 

DO NOT USE THE WAREHOUSE FUNCTIONALITY.

It doesnt work. It never worked. Avoid it entirely.

Whenever you use it in a mission, that mission file becomes incompatible with DCS after an update (or rather, after every time ED adds a new weapon to DCS). It breaks then, as you can see in the first screen shot with the empty lines in the table.

@BIGNEWY Please do another test or further investigation.

 

I deleted all triggers and scripts in my mission. Im placed another F/A-18C Hornet at Al Dhafra Airbase, which works fine in my mission. Another new placed Hornet Group at Minhad has the same issue, no fuel tanks to hang on. I don't think it's only mission related, otherwise the Hornet on Dhafra should have the issue, as well. But its only at Minhad.

 

Track with the same mission, but without any triggers or scripts.

@Dorian: Thanks for that info. I can't remember, that I used the warehouse function in that mission. But thanks for the info!

It doesnt work in Minhad, because you used warehouse functionality in Minhad. It works in Dhafra, because you did not use it in Dhafra.

Easiest way to fix the bugged warehouse in the editor is to re-apply the warehouse with the latest version.
