cool_t Posted September 6, 2008 Author Posted September 6, 2008 Hey sobek! I think you should face off with some of the competative Pac-Man players out there. You will learn when you should eat the pellets that turn the ghosts blue and when you save those so you can eat more dots. :smartass: I flew an A-10 mission 2 night and the AAA was masked b hind town buildings. I CBUed the first pair then ran out of gunz on the second Shikila. If the Cannon on the A-10 could gimbal I could have killed all of them with the Gun. :smartass:

When BS comes out i'm gonna own those ghosts. Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
GGTharos Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 He was exactly as on topic as you were with your HL stuff. 'Facing off against players' in HL has zip, zilch, squat and nada to do with some AAA systems hosing you down because it surprised you :D [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
159th_Viper Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 ......then ran out of gunz on the second Shikila...... :smartass: All 1350 of them? 1 Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career? Prophet Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 As has been stated, but I would just like to give my 2c. The gun placement is just fine. The BS can yaw pretty dang fast. In the many missions that I dorked around in, I never ran into a problem of being able to get the gun on target. You have to remember that the range is pretty good on the gun. So if you find yourself in a hornets nest, where you need to be yawing back and forth to hit your targets, well you didnt plan well because you shouldnt be in that situation. It just wont be an issue.
GGTharos Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 To drive the point further, 'the enemy will relieve you of all your problems' :D It just wont be an issue. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
cool_t Posted September 6, 2008 Author Posted September 6, 2008 All 1350 of them? Yes it was in a good spot behind some buildings, It was a long range shot due to the fact that there was other AAA in the area. Thanks,

'Facing off against players' in HL has zip, zilch, squat and nada to do with some AAA systems hosing you down because it surprised you :D It was a post script, and the HL reference was too see if he had any HL flight time. HL filght refernece has plenty too do with our topic, Pac man..ect.ect..is warn time from admin. P.M. me about stuff like this.

How does the KA-50 handle with a full fuel load and weapons on board?
AlphaOneSix Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 How does the KA-50 handle with a full fuel load and weapons on board? Stay on topic. Just kidding! It handles like a fat pig! Okay, it's not that bad but there is obviously a noticeable difference from when it's heavy and when it's light, especially at altitude.

RedTiger Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 Stay on topic. Somehow I have missed it!! Are you trying to argue that he gun is in a bad place or a good place? 1
cool_t Posted September 6, 2008 Author Posted September 6, 2008 Somehow I have missed it!! Are you trying to argue that he gun is in a bad place or a good place? Thats what were are discussing here. I have not flown the KA-50 but after seeing the Video of the gun I questioned the Gun Placement and movement limitaions. :)

ED Team Groove Posted September 6, 2008 ED Team Posted September 6, 2008 The gun itself and the position is superior. Long barrel and the mounting gives a big accuracy boost. If you check the disperisions of chin mounted guns you will recognize why this is the best gun mounting postion. Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en
sobek Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 (edited) Pac man..ect.ect..is warn time from admin. Relax man, that was just a simple joke. RedTiger Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 (edited) Relax man, that was just a simple joke. Admins don't give warnings for that (or do they?;)). Not to my knowledge. I was just being a smartass and calling it like I saw it. :D The gun is fine. If you are attacking in a chopper in broad daylight "There's an enemy over at 10 o'clock shooting at me! I missed them, gotta swing over there, oh shi.....!" You're probably dead anyway. Attack at night, or if you can't because you're flying a Ka-50, don't attack unless you know your surroundings. Recon, datalink, etc. etc. etc. Edited September 7, 2008 by RedTiger
