Your favorite missile evasion technique

Post your favorite missile evasion technique here..!

Mine would be a Half Cuban 8 followed by a 90 degree roll to the side then half cuban 8 again and when ur about halfway I do a hi G turn I pop 3 flares with an interval of about.. well.. 4 seconds.. i need to perfect it though..

My most effective evasion tecnique is never let the opposition fire a single missile at me before I do to them.

 

I fire AMRAAM or R-77 and then when TTA reaches 0 I turn 90 degrees off and wait untill my targets goes defensive for another pass, or run myself.

 

It usualy pi$$es people off, but its the most realistic tactic and a textbook technique. :)

 

like I will fly torwards them and have a heat seeker in the face after they barrel roll all my missiles!

When I get shot BVR and I have no idea where the missile is I like to go into S-turns while keeping my nose down a bit to keep notching the enemy and I always roll towards the ground when I change direction because it keeps my speed up. I start with long S-turns and do them more repeatedly when I have that feeling the missile is getting closer.

 

When closer and if I can see the missile coming I like performing an F-pole or beam (if I do not have the enemy locked yet) and at the last second I pull up hard and barrel roll over it which puts my nose facing the bandit and I can use autoacquisition to lock him up.

You don't have to work yourself so hard. My technique is this- I fly head-on to the bandit at full burner, I shoot like crazy and within 25km I press the magic button that activates the "automatic missile spoofing mod" which enables the hardcoded boomerang mode of the missiles. Trouble is that my own missiles start chasing me but hey, at least I dodge bandit's missiles 100% :D

depend of situation if you have ground cover such as mountains you can dive and use it as shield, if you fly on flat terranins you can inverte the route and run (if some friendly is in front of you he can also cover you and attack bandit when missile lock is lost you can reverse again and try to attack or cover you mates)

when im feeling aggressive i fly head on at the missile waving left and right so i can still close on teh target and hopefully avoid the missle
