I did find interesting artefact in VR 2.7. I've noticed that something wrong 2 lines of objects sitting somewhere at 5 and 10km from me. This affect was like if you're having wrong IPD. But it was strange, because everything in a cockpit or at further distance was ok. I've started to close my eyes one by one, and found out that the distance of drawing or LOD changing passing through these two lines is different for each eye. Its like a difference of 100-200m for each eye. And it more obvious when you're looking at the forest or city. This is really wierd, Ive never seen nothing like this before. Seems like a bug to me.

+1 here.

It happens with the Deck Crew of the Supercarrier and other objects, reflections in the water too.

Hi,

please ensure you are not using shared parser in your auto exec as it is still considered work in progress.

I have reported an issue with a slight miss match in view distance to the VR team, I am waiting for a fix to test.

thanks

I don't know if this is related but I also had one/two bands of distant objects that were being rendered differently, which caused eye strain.

Enabling stereo_mode_use_shared_parser resolved this issue but presented other issues with lighting rendering in one eye.

I then read that Windows Settings > Mixed reality > Headset display > Experience options set to "Optimise for Performance" may cause rendering issues.

Setting this to "Best visual experience" and disabling stereo_mode_use_shared_parser has resolved the rendering issues I experienced.

I don´t use the shared parser in autoexec.

As i stated BIGNEWY there are slight missmatch in VR with some objects like Deck Crew.

Thank you for your help and work to improve DCS.

Bruno.

Looking at deck crew guys it is easily noticeable those issues (not rendering some cloth details in one eye).

Yup, same here - it looks like the deck crew's chest stripes are slightly different sizes between each eye. At least that's the most noticeable thing. It's kinda hard to see what the differences actually *are* when blinking from one eye to another, but that's what I see anyhow.

That´s correct, the chest stripes are different sizes. In some cases water reflex is different too, left eye the reflexions have shimmering and in right eye the sea is perfect.
