I attempted landing on a road but got bounced off to the ground outside the road. I managed to stop the plane and when I tried to steer back to the road but even I pushed all the way to Stage 3 AB, the planed did not move a mm.

Have I done something wrong, or is it a bug? Latest 2.7 OB.

Did you break the gear or burst the tyres?

Because last time I tried, taxiing on grass should be possible in DCS.

It depends on the aircraft. Viggen is one of the ones that get stuck, unless you keep the speed up. Him breaking in this case is what caused him to get stuck.
The Harrier for example is however fine with going off road, even if you stop.

Viggen is love. Viggen is life.

This has happened to me too.  When I get stuck in the mud I use the reverse thrusters to rock it back and forth until I get enough momentum to get out.  It sounds like I'm joking, but I'm not.

In DCS we land on Road-bases and it is no problem with Viggen

Do not use brakes drect after touch-down only reverse with full power then add brakes carefully and if drifting release brake power

The problem is you cant manouver arrpuund or even turn arround on certain roads, since if you get off road you do get stuck...

ancient dcs core bug. gets reported every year.

you must never fully stop on soil or youll get glued to it. static friction of soil is somehow set to some absurd amount by ed or something.

You can stop on soil. You just need to be light enough to get out of it with little to no issues.
