markturner1960 Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 As title suggests, is there any way to make the marker tabs permanent or another way to avoid scrolling through what is a lot of pages in my kneeboard for the section I want? This seems to be a basic feature that would be extremely useful? thanks 2 System specs: PC1 :Scan 3XS Ryzen 5900X, 64GB Corsair veng DDR4 3600, EVGA GTX 3090 Win 10, Quest Pro, Samsung Odyssey G9 Neo monitor.
TimRobertsen Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 I think they are sorted by file-name. So, to sort them, just go into the folder and add numbers infront of their name, or just rename each file so that they only have a number for name. First become an aviator, then become a terminator
Cruizzzzer Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 It refers to the bookmarks you can set, and that they will be saved for your kneeboard individually. Saving bookmarks would be very useful
markturner1960 Posted May 31, 2021 Author Posted May 31, 2021 Yeah, as cruizzer said.....although, riddle me this, below is a picture of the files in my kneeboard folder. Despite me carefully labelling them in the numerical order I want them to scroll in, windows and DCS won’t put them in that order.....Can anyone tell why?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk System specs: PC1 :Scan 3XS Ryzen 5900X, 64GB Corsair veng DDR4 3600, EVGA GTX 3090 Win 10, Quest Pro, Samsung Odyssey G9 Neo monitor.
hotrod525 Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 (edited) If you rename them to something like 01_F/A-18C_Hornet_KS_Day_01, 02_F/A-18C_Hornet_KS_Day_02, it will work the way you want it. I personally use "1-" "2-" "3-" for my customs page and it work. Edited May 31, 2021 by hotrod525
Foka Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 And remember that Kneeboards from that folder are not only you're viewing. You will have (AFAIR in that order) Mission KBs, Plane KBs, Map KBs.
Zyll Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 You have hornet- and hornet_ inadvertently mixed in your naming convention, hence the unexpected sort order 1
markturner1960 Posted May 31, 2021 Author Posted May 31, 2021 Bingo...thanks Zyll!! 1 System specs: PC1 :Scan 3XS Ryzen 5900X, 64GB Corsair veng DDR4 3600, EVGA GTX 3090 Win 10, Quest Pro, Samsung Odyssey G9 Neo monitor.
