I'd mis-understood something I'd heard....

 

I believe you might be able to set the ABRIS to english, but not tooltips or cockpit labels....even that needs to be confirmed though, and could also be incorrect.

I posted that now deleted message about enabling etc. and now I have the warning private message from developers. So don't ask me anymore and wait for the international release. Actually it's not so bad, the sim have enough bugs to be patched.

I understood that the warning or, asking you not to discuss any further, was in the form of a PM. But I still can't see the benefits, on their behalf, of not allowing discussions regarding the topic that was deleted. There are plenty of forums where it will be discussed, but it's their choice so I'll respect that and I wont mention it on these boards anymore.

i'll probably be buying 3! 1 russian and 2 western 1 for a server :D the english version will probably be more expensive only because it will match other new games or maybe a little less... just because thats what ALL new games usualy are sold at in the west.

I was in doubt wether to get the Russian version or not. Just to fiddle around a bit, even if supporting DCS, well, I don't grow money in my backyard. But knowing about the possibilities finally convinced me to get both, the Russian version now and the Western version later.

 

Furthermore, I think I will get a couple of Russian versions and make them presents for my friends ;) - I did the same with LockOn when it was around 12 Euros here.

No, but I have not personally read the Russian EULA text, so I won't be able to explain the nuances. I'm forwarding the information I was given and the explanation of why such posts have been removed from our forums.
