The 1st Pic & 2nd Pics are pics of the Taxi Lights, but it's the lower & larger lamp that's lighted
while the 3rd & 4th pics are supposedly the longer and a bit downward angle landing light, yet it's the smaller upper lamp that's lighted

I can confirm @ latest beta.

Plus I get no bright white texture on the lights themselves in VR. Only the halo around is visible with black inner circle. This one is a mockup, not real screenshot:

And why the lights are working with electric power down?

I forgot to add  I'm running on the 2.5.7.10869 stable version.

So I guess there's even more lights problem in the beta then?

I just wanted to know if this bug has been officially acknowledged?
Now the Eagle has two bugs with regards lighting, the first one being the weird Night light textures i posted earlier and now these landing/taxi lights problems
..both bugs are still present in the current stable build.

Thanks^

Both issues reproduced and reported:

  • Taxi light is associated to the landing light effect / landing light is associated to the taxi light effect
  • Both taxi light and landing light appear to be "paint in black"

Thank you all. 👍

  • Thanks 2

Are the lights working with electric power off considered a bug too @Flappie ?

Sorry, I missed that one. Now that you mention it, I experienced the same behaviour in the Viggen earlier this week. Before reporting this issue, I'll check if that's a global issue or just a coincidence.
