Toni Carrera Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 Hi Fellow Pilots, I just want to ask what the -22 value is in the attached image. As I move my head up, the value reduces until I am looking at the heading tape where is is +0 Anybody able to assist? Toni Carrera Posted September 30, 2021 Author Posted September 30, 2021 Thank you for your answers Sorry, I did not word my question correctly. What I meant was, is there a way to centre the values? I have carried out several HMD align through the BIT menu, as well as 'Align' and 'Fine' through the appropriate options on the DDI, but still the values remain as is where '+0' is way up on the Heading Tape Does that make sense in terms of what I am asking? You want a +0 when you look staight ahead. That's not possible currently. The head position in the hornet is somewhat different than in other modules as well, but even in Wags' own HMD alignment video you will see that looking ahead at the HUD has him looking at a value of aroud -15° That's just how it is, atm. Swift. Posted September 30, 2021 Posted September 30, 2021 Yeah the default non-head tracking view will point you a little bit below the HUD. Its not really an issue to just recentre your track-ir type device to wherever you want it though. 476th Discord | 476th Website | Swift Youtube Ryzen 5800x, RTX 4070ti, 64GB, Quest 2
