Setting squawk trough ICP- IFF page possible in sim?

Hello fellas. Just a quick question to hear if any of you guys know if this is implemented?

In this vid you can see the pilot changing his squawk trough the ICP IFF page, instead of having to use the switches on the left panel.

I have not been able to confirm if this is implemented/working in DCS. I can apparently enter a squawk trough the ICP, but have not had a chance to test this in MP, and to see if it works as intended. Any of you guys know?

No adjustment is currently possible. Entry of codes on IFF STAT page with scratch pad would be:

  • M1: XX ENT
  • M2: 2XXXX ENT
  • M3: XXXX ENT
  • M4 A/B toggle: 6 ENT
  • C : 5 ENT
  • S : 8 ENT

With an air start on the instant mission the CNI and IFF and INTG pages indicate:

M1, M2, M3, C, S disabled

M1, M2, M3 decoupled

M4 enabled, neither A or B code (impossible?), monitoring out

M1, M3, M4 interrogation enabled, all decoupled LOS/SCAN same settings

As far as I know none of the modules react genuinely to IFF code entry except JF-17 to JF-17 interactions. As currently presented and without the ability to change even if normal operation would occur, the F-16 as set in DCS wouldn't respond to M3 interrogations. M4 hard to say since it's enabled but it isn't set to any code A/B.

With C&I in backup I'm not sure if the CNI page is supposed to show the setting on the backup panel or if it's supposed to still show what would be the settings if the C&I was in UFC. In theory backup IFF you could have limited control over the M1 3 4 codes (XX00 for M3).

Ah yeah LotATC works. I didn't know they were able to grab info from the software like that now. Previously you had to use the back up IFF controls so it could detect the physical switch states.

Wondering how is this going along, I haven't even tried it, but I didn't see it (maybe I missed it) in changelogs.

Any news on this?

I tried it just a month ago or so and it still doesn't work. This would be a great feature to have as our community uses squawking through SRS as a standard. Even if the page has no functionality in DCS, it would be very useful for us.

Yes indeed,

I kinda of didn't even touch whole IFF section cause its not complete, I would, as many others I believe, like to have these kind of features implemented. It is what makes modern jets interesting.
