@Jsood As the thread title is "The next map" I can tell you, that the next map will be the Falkland map ("DCS South Atlantic"), despite all your wishes

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

Falkland map, according to Razbam, is going to have two versions; original 1980s and "modern day".

Original 1980s Falkland is going to be ok for A-6, A-7, F-14A Cold War naval aviation modules.

(And it's going to be the very first Cold War map in DCS)

I haven't seen that, but if true, that would be great, especially if it can be tied to historical mode.

The differences AFAIK would be RAF Mount Pleasant as well as the 3 RRHs (Mount Alice, Mount Kent and Byron Heights).

As well as maybe the few Rapier launch sites, which out of the ones I've found are dotted around RAF Mount Pleasantand the nearby Mare Harbour.

As far as time is concerned sure, but these will only really be in alternate history/hypothetical conflicts, right now we don't have any module appropriate for the Falklands conflict

The Caucasus map is technically Cold War era, but personally, is wholly unsuitable for Cold War scenarios.

With up coming modules as the A-6 A-7 it would be nice with a Vietnam map 60' style.

I wonder why nobody else ever thought of this 🤔
