I was just wondering how many of the regulars on here are being patient and waiting or have taken the plunge and gone for the Russian version. And in reality how many of you are actually going to purchase the western version now you have the "converted" Russian version?

I purchased the Russian version, and will most likly pickup the english dvd version, if it ever makes it to Australia. Although i think if i fly this sim enough then the cockpit labels may become just an accepted part of the sim. I'd like a spiral bound manual though for toilet reading and such ;)

Well, seems that I'll stick with the RU version as the western version will support only TIR4. Biiiiiig mistake IMHO

Who says?

I thought they patched the CIS version to accept other inputs and the western one will be out the box?

I bought the russian version and will buy the western version as soon as it is released.

I`ve been trying to learn the basics from watching the training modules, but I must admit that even the easiest lessons are hard when you don`t understand the language. :)

Implementation of the new HeadTracker interface has been canceled. As the NewInput.dll will be protected be SF in the western release, there is no other option. (I don't like the PPjoy function of FT)

From what I understand ALL Naturalpoint hardware will work, but anything none TiR won't.

I downloaded the Russian vesion the other night and will buy the English version and the printed manual as soon as they are available. We need to support the devs If we want more add-ons.

Only Natural Point TIR 3&4 support? I just voted for "No I am strong, I am waiting until the western version is released...", but I guess I'll have to change that into "I have the Russian version/will be getting it and I plan on purchasing the western one. ".... if the russian version works with Free-track....
