No problem at all. I just tested the South Atlantic no mods miz file that was shared earlier in the post.

@fargo007 Hi there, I want to use the script to only spawn one big group of enemy contacts.

Can I just delete all the groups and leave one group?  Will that then only spawn that one group?
If I make that group say 50 units, will it then spawn only those 50 enemies?

Yes, that will work.  You need to have minimum 1 group each on the red side of HEAVY, LIGHT, and SUPPORT for it to work.  

There's no reason you can't make them be a single group of 50 in LIGHT/HEAVY and a single unit of the same thing in SUPPORT.

Hi just found this again, forgot it existed is it at all possible to remove the choice options and just have one in the menu and then spawn a random one instead of having the 3 options? Cheers 🍻

I would be very grateful if somebody could provide me with an actual pre-made mission for Syria and Caucus as I am unable to.

 

Does anybody have them lying around they could upload?

 

For some reason the Syria mission from the Github page doesn't show up in DCS as a mission within the library which is odd - the South atlantic one from page 9 on this thread does though. Strange!

Hello folks, just tried the script. It somewhat still works, but there are issues with the mission being over.
Basically, once the RED forces have been destroyed or have retreated, BLUFOR don't give an all clear call and are stuck on the map. The Clean Up command fixes that but it would be nice if the process was automatic since I am running it on a private MP server...
Latest Moose release doesn't seem to have any issue.

Thanks for your patience guys.  

Version 13 is now published as a release on git.

Significant changes include:

  • Sounds are played directly on the radio in the mission instead of via srs_stts. You can still modify it easily to do that but I'm not going to support both moving forward.
  • Target markings now include Tracers (with and without LoS), Laser (configurable codes),  and marking of the friendlies with an IR strobe for night/NVG engagements. That is awesome and you're gonna love it.
  • Cleanup routine totally reworked.

 

The original README.md on the main branch page has been updated. The names of the assets have changed as well to avoid conflicts and render them consistent.

Outstanding! Thank you for your work to the DCS community. Eager to try it on the weekend if i got a little of free time.

First i need to update my previous missions. The names/syntaxes remain the same for the units and i just need to change the script in the triggers or you advise erase the previous units and triggers and start from scratch?
