In the HSI-DATA-A/C format you can not set a radar altimeter altitude under any conditions. However, you can set the barometric altitude warning.

Haven't watched the trk yet but AFAIK - to set the radar alt warning on the HSI page you have to be in flight above the altitude you want to set.

Point is that it doesn't work ever. Plus, the baro side doesn't require that

This has been reported:

You can't set it on the ground as it gets reset at an instant.

The MC not registering that you are going through the set altitude in different situations.

The RADALT warning set through the HSI A/C page is supposed to reset *once* the plane detects WOW (as in, upon landing). In DCS, this reset takes place continuously as long as there is WOW.

And yes, it's a reported bug. Maybe the threads can be merged.
