Outstanding find. I wondered how fast this would pop up on here. Plan on picking her up and getting acclimated while the Lancaster team continues getting her ready for DCS. Appreciate this post. 1
Tonker Posted July 18 Posted July 18 Would be interested in hearing how you get on with her. The most immediately interesting thing for me is that Echo 19 did the sounds, so it may be possible to reach out to them. I assume using sounds they recorded/developed for their Spitfire/Mustang Merlin engines, but it does sound good! I really think the Lanc is going to be transformative for DCS, opening an entirely new world for us. Too excited! 1 Nah, I've only just met 'er...:pilotfly:

AH has interesting choices but quality control is almost non-existent, bugs and problems are unfortunately typical in their case. 2 Webmaster of http://www.yoyosims.pl Win 10 64, i9-13900 KF, RTX 5090 32Gb OC, RAM 64Gb Corsair Vengeance LED OC@3600MHz,, 3xSSD+3xSSD M.2 NVMe, Predator XB271HU res.2560x1440 27'' G-sync, Sound Blaster Z + 5.1, TiR5, [MSFS, P3Dv5, DCS, RoF, Condor2, IL-2 CoD/BoX] VR fly only: Meta Quest Pro

I have almost pulled the trigger several times, but held off. Flying Iron has crushed the WW2 scene in MSFS. HIGHLY recommend all their products. They are working a B-17 now for MSFS 2024 and then the team said they were redirecting all their focus to wrapping up the A-7. Really impressed with them. 2
Slippa Posted August 20 Posted August 20 How’s the ol girl coming along? Trust all’s well and everyone’s tip top and Bristol fashion on their landing techniques (mentioning no names, ahem) Keep it up 5
Slippa Posted Monday at 06:50 AM Posted Monday at 06:50 AM I was listening to something the other day and learnt that on the flight Dimbleby flew and reported on, his Pilot was Gibbo. I’ll have to read Enemy Coast Ahead again for a refresher. He should never have been asked to even begin forming 617 when he was asked to. He’d done more than enough already and was pretty battered. Amazing what some of those fellas went through. Looking through the thread a bit, just reposting this one (with gunners ). Best regards team 6
