can not reproduce AAR Tankers Don't Respond to New Callsigns

If you're using the new callsigns you won't be able to AAR. After hours of searching this is what I seemed to trace it to why the tankers wont respond.

Same here, every radio comm towards AI "service" is broken, both in F-16 and F-18.

I can see the radio transmission "blink" as if I'm transmitting, but no message appears from me and no response from Tanker / AWACS / Flight / ATC / JTAC / ...

Just tested both had replies from both.

are you using voice commands? or the normal radio menu?

We tried both with a clean install.

Strange in my tests today I was getting replies from both tankers in the track replays.

My A-10 TK2 can not get any reponds from tanker in very old training missions I have been flying several times. Something bad happend yesterday. I mean suddenly they just stopped to respond.

I am not sure, but it looks like the problem occures with KC-135MPRS only. Not with KC-135.

Hi, that would be nice if You could veryfy. Unfortunately I have I have updated all my mission to fly KC-135  but I could easily change it back .

I did. Check please if You could find something there.

KC-135MPRS cannot refuel the A-10.  It only has a drogue.  You need to use the KC-135 which has a probe to refuel the A-10.

KC-135MPRS has boom too and I have been refuelling with that.

MPRS has a boom, that is correct but it is inoperable in DCS. To use boom refuelling capabilities, you need to use KC-135, not KC-135 MPRS.

I had the same problem, in both MP and SP. I've been using the Joker callsign for our Hornets and recently, all AI assets stopped responding, but I could see the XMIT/Receive symbol show up on the UFC radio windows.

After going through several things, a DCS Repair solved the problem.

Hopefully this will help some people here.

So Problem Resolved or do we need to change the Hornets callsign ?

I tested this a few days ago and had no issue. I suspect it has to do with heavily scripted missions, not DCS.

I tested on the same mission, before and after the Repair and it worked after.

And on SP, I tried with a simple mission, only a Tanker and me in a Hornet. Didn't work before the Repair, worked after.

Thanks for your feedback. Maybe a mod broke something at some point.
