I've tried static, dynamic, presets everything, I just can't make it rain. Looking online it suggests that there is a precipitation option in weather. - I cant find it.

What am I doing wrong?

@FlappieI have rain in some of my missions, but only on the windscreen.

Rain is not visible in external views. It's been like that for a very long time.

This was fixed some months ago. I'm amazed you still encounter this issue. Have you tested my track?

Hmmm, I think I know what it might be.

My missions are about a year old, They were created with dynamic weather long before the new clouds

were released and I also noticed that I still have 2.5.6 water effects with white caps on every wave.  My bad.    q4fEPdv.png

I have this problem now with the Marianas map in the Mission Editor. I can't find the tab 'precipitation' (where it should be according to the instructional YouTube video) .So I cannot generate rain in missions. I did nit think of checking it in other maps, so it may or may not be a problem there.

Afaik precipitation shows for older weather controls when you load older mission or when you load old presets. The new cloud presets (with images) "Overcast with rain 1 & 2" will give you rain. It works independently of used map.

Thank you, Draconus! That was the solution. I had not looked at the clouds because I had not expected rain to be there. I promise to myself (and to you) to pay more attention next time, but I am afraid that it will not help.
