Haukka81 Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 You might want to check sources that are attributed to Copp/Goon. Just saying. :) Further, you should understand anything that is said of an exercise in context. http://www.airforcemag.com/MagazineArchive/Pages/2009/January%202009/0109vision.aspx Yes, i know that video was troll or least very bad propaganda , was just so "funny" that i liked to share it  Oculus CV1, Odyssey, Pimax 5k+ (i5 8400, 24gb ddr4 3000mhz, 1080Ti OC ) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Lucican Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 so much stuff to read. (Not that I'm complaining) I'm just wondering by now when F-35 or SU-37 will come to DCS That would be so much fun and so cool. http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=93191&stc=1&d=1390034016

(Not that I'm complaining) I'm just wondering by now when F-35 or SU-37 will come to DCS That would be so much fun and so cool. Well considering almost every system on the F-35 will be highly classified I don't think ED could do any kind of meaningful model of the aircraft in DCSW unless you are thinking 80 years from now... It sounds like he was one of the lower level guys involved. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
hitman Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Dual citizens cant get TS clearance per DoD regulations. They "can" get secret clearance and ITARS.
leafer Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Oh, yeah! Nothing like giving your dearest enemy a dose of costly migraine starter. ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P

Kusch Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Poland to purchase 64 new 5th gen fighters between 2020 and 2030. According to the new information provided to the Polish Parliamentary Commission on defence, instead of purchasing extra 16 F-16 fighters to replace Su-22 fighter-bombers it has been concluded it is better to keep them in service for extra 5 to 10 years and purchase completely new generation of aircraft (implicitly F-35). Give me "flying telephone pole" (SA-2)!
Pilotasso Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 65 F-35's sounds like number in the realm of the fantastic for the countries economy level... But I wish them the best. .
joey45 Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Probably go down to about 20 odd The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. I have red about this on The Aviationist. There is definitely a misunderstanding there as the amount of money mentioned would not cover the same amount of F-16s. Where did you find this information by the way? EDIT: I have found it myself, link to a whole article in polish : http://www.defence24.pl/news_mon-chce-kupic-do-2030-r-64-samoloty-wielozadaniowe-v-tej-generacji . The amount of money is appropriate. Edited February 23, 2014 by xatu miller [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Pilotasso Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 It was specified to be fifth gen, not F-35. Good luck with money. Kinda pointless to think otherwise since there are only 3 5th generation fighters in service or anywhere nearing production and 2 of them wont be sold to Poland no matter what. :) .
