Can't even touch the thing?

AFAIK, it's like that for all Stealth aircraft static display, people can't touch.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

Always has been since the F-117, otherwise someone can come along and woopsy daisies scratch some RAM coating off and take it away for mass spectrometry. Kind of like carrying away turbine swarf on the soles of your shoes in the late-40s.;)

Know and use all the capabilities in your airplane. If you don't, sooner or later, some guy who does use them all will kick your ass.

Interesting fact, all the F-35C pilots said that the F-35C is really easy to carrier ops, etc.

Because of all the Automated Systems... Makes it tons easier..

the only issue the C ***HAD*** was the Initial design of the Hook,

the other issues were related more with EMALS and AAG Problems, which just happen to be used to test F-35Cs

So is every other fighter that came before it ... just happens to be a 'flying computer' of its particular era.

It's pretty interesting really to see how far the security goes. I remember going to an event with my father (he worked jet engine test at an USAF base as a civilian.) when they were showing off the B-2, which was relatively new at the time. They had armed guards everywhere and there were clear warnings about the harshly violent consequences if you stepped over a freshly laid line on the ground. You weren't even allowed to take photos of it. They would hand stock photos out, and you could get the crew's autograph. I remember thinking that photo was the coolest thing ever.

Are you sure? Last time I flew F-35 in P3D I saw an awesome AP, just like the Super bug does..

I'm sure it's fine in P3D.
