Vapour
Is it possible in a mission when you are getting low on fuel or need more ordanance to go back to your base and get replenished? I tried without success.
Nate--IRL--
Yes, but.... The base must have the equipment stationed there (such as refuel trucks etc.) for you to use them. You must also switch your radio to talk to the Maintenance engineer, after your door is closed. Nate Or, as long as the proper equipment is there, shut down completely and yell out the open door (use the Comms menu).

Debio
Guys, you're kidding or is it really implemented in the sim?? just dropped my jaw.. it is really inplemented. to communicate with ground crew for rearming and refueling (door closed, and electric power to radios), you need to set the intercom control to the "ground crew" setting, and the R-828 radio must be on channel 9 for them to communicate - otherwise, you will never get a response. same thing with ATC: you have to set the radios correctly in order to communicate - otherwise, you will hear your own sim voice, but never get a reply because they never hear your transmission. very cool... *edit: um, the R-828 does NOT need to be on channel 9, i found out. Nate OK that's all great but what DEFAULT keys do you press to do all this. Also, how do you repair? Where do you have to be to do it and what DEFAULT keys do you press to do it. I find it funny and frustrating how people will give advice but assume that everyone knows how to use every single key command in the game.
WildBillKelsoe
is it possible to rearm in hover mode? I know unrealistic but??? 1 AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Hakon
For repair you have to turn off your engines. Normaly 3 minutes after the blades stoped spinning the repairs were done. For default-Keys: RTFM I don´t think you can rearm in hover mode. But i didn´t test it.
Dimebag1
Guys, you're kidding or is it really implemented in the sim?? just dropped my jaw.. Keep in mind that you don't actually get to see the fuel truck or the ground crew rearming the aircraft, so it's not as amazing as you think, more practical than anything. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Pyroflash
I think he is talking about the radios having to be set, etc. Rather than the fact that you can re-arm and refuel your aircraft. 1 If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.
