I see one odd server once in awhile hosting SA, is this map a flop or whats going on?

spawning in and trying to load up an aircraft at 10-15 FPS is what's keeping me from using it.

Needs missions, as just an empty map isn't very popular.

That's why there is an excellent mission editor.

MP is all about the minimum common denominator.. you won’t find new maps there until a majority of the community has it. I play mostly SP, so I can enjoy the map on my own missions.

Sure, but creating a decent mission for a larger MP server takes time.

You need to scout map areas for certain scenarios, set up bases and coalitions with air defenses, create dynamic spawns, etc. etc.

That's why there is usually a delay between release (especially Early Access) and the first MP servers with more than training ranges popping up.

I will take your word for all of that. 

 

Must be a few mission builders out there who would make something for the servers.

There's a couple of decent PvE servers using the SA map, I don't want to name drop but Operation Wicker Hill is a good start.

107th Through the Inferno is another good option for PvE content as well!

in the November update you will have more airfields which will allow for more mission scenarios.  As we said we will be putting every single airfield into the map, but this is a time-consuming process, ynullou will also see some better ground detail and vegetation maps   A little snippet of one of them
