WW2 Flak+ radar + searchlights

Is there a way to get flak batteries to fire at enemy planes at night? I tried it with radar and searchlights but while they do turn and point their guns at the aircraft, they do not fire.

you have to create trigger zone, and set fire at point in advanced way point actions for you flak group, and make a trigger when aircraft enter the zone it will activate AAA unit

Yes. but again, it makes the guns point at the target but not fire. This is at nighttime with searchlights.

 

I realize that you can do an aerial barrage but they are practically a non threat due to their inaccuracy. 

I guess this is a bug? Cause the Search lights find and track targets and the radar and optical rangefinder tracks as well, the guns are tracking and pointing their guns at the target but just not firing.

But you are right, that it could be a bug. I think search lights should eliminate the need for high skilled AI...

The KS-19 also seems to have an issue at night, even with the Firecan attached to it. Might be a general bug.

Please make a bug report for it. I'd rather not do it myself, since i'm not on open beta.

I have no such power. I'm just a zealous tester.

BIGNEWY has already reported the KS-19 issue which happens when the moon is far from full.
