Does this mod still work?

Yes, it still works ... tested today, latest OB:

Without Mod:

With Mod:

It increases the text just a bit, but enough for my old eyes  🙂

Thanks a lot  @MYSE1234

His other Mod, for the dark canopy, its not needed anymore, as the default cockpit is currently not too dark anymore.

Thanks for confirmation and thanks for the mod  @MYSE1234. I'll apply it. This is the first hud that I could not read.

Yes cockpit looks wonderful.

Cheers.

This is typical of those early HUD's .. the Viggen's is of the same style, tough with much more functionality.

I do not question functionality. I can perfectly read any hud or any cockpit in VR. Viggen has a perfect readability too. I mean this HUD is the only cockpit element I cannot read in all the modules I own (I own almost everyhing 🙂  )

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but I think the last update broke this mod - @Rapierarch @MYSE1234can you confirm?

Since the fps drop in 2.8, i'm not using that mod any more. I'm still trying to recover from perf drop and I want to work on vanilla DCS while tuning so I'm not aware of if any update broke it.

Seems to be working for me on the latest OB. In what way does it seem to be broken for you?

Be sure to install again the mod, all updates broke all mods.. try to go to your main game folder and you´ll see the files that has been removed an backuped to a folder named "_backupxx"

Inside this folder (the last one) are the files that the installer removed and replaced for the originals, just search for the "Mods\aircraft\Mirage-F1\Cockpit\Mirage-F1\Mirage-F1_Common\SightSystem\Indicator" and inside is the file you must overwrite again in the main folder...

Or use OVGME😅

is it possible to add the files in the mod folder in the User folder

no, on saved games you place additional aircrafts .. not possible to use it for modifications of purchased aircrafts

so that after each update, you don't have to copy/paste the files oer and over again ?

why don’t  you use a Mod Manager? That way you can easily disable all mods before updating dcs, and re-enable them afterwards:

I have a installation copy on my HDD, if you want it Pm a private, I have done some research and is hard to find on internet, it seems to be discontinued, I found other app that seems to do the same called openModMan

https://github.com/sedenion/OpenModMan

This is the one I use. Open Mod Manager, and it is from the same dev as OvGME.
OvGME is not worked on any more. Only Open Mod Manager.
And it absolutely works with DCS and other games.
Cheers!

F1-EE improvement over F1-CE should be:

- improved HUD: Thomson-CSF VE120

- Improved RWR: AN/ALR-300

- Integrated flare an chaff dispenser : AN/ALE-40

- INS system

- Refuelling probe

- IFF interrogator

- Improved Radar: Cyrano-IVM with ECM Jamming capability and improved air-ground capability (radar telemetry, radar cartography), Super 530F air-air missile guidance

- Improved air-ground capabilities: not clear as it seems that F1-EE never received CCRP/CCIP in the contrary to F1-CR

You got any info on the IFF interrogator?

New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, HP Reverb (formermly CV1)

Old-N-busted: i7 4720HQ ~3.5GHZ, +32GB DDR3 + Nvidia GTX980m (4GB VRAM) :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, Rift CV1 (yes really).

I think it doesn't work with the latest update. HUD display doesn't appear at all.
