Please note that the behaviour present in current Open Beta is going to change significantly in the next update. We also have an internal fix for the bug with "extreme speed" at low altitude. Thanks! I know sometimes people get all defensive "they're working on go away!" Type stuff. My take is that developers cant give us fixes, and such if we don't give feedback. So I want to thank you and the whole development team for the work on the Mirage F1. I love the jet. So while this threat has descended into lord of the flies and people critzing the expertise of others based on numbers of forum posts...() I'm glad to hear that there are fixes in the works. Keep up the good work, we do appreciate it. Edit: can someone please lock this post. I think we've covered everything well past the point where the horse is dead. ARM505 Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 The wobbles are gone, it seems to fly like it should now. I'm nowhere near smart enough to test for book speeds etc, but it's also slower at sea level, back to a more plausible level. No more speed records.... Also, BOKKE! (SAAF paintscheme now has correct Sprinbok emblem, colours, insignia placement etc - good job!) 2
Bremspropeller Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Flies really nice now! 1 1 So ein Feuerball, JUNGE!
Capt_Haddock Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 She flies beautifully after the update. Wobbles gone. Nice coordinated turns. Easy to trim. Thank you Aerges! 4
Tavo89 Posted September 3, 2022 Posted September 3, 2022 I was flying the F1 and it feels very stable, even during dogfights, overall it feels good. 2
Get_Lo Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 hopped into the F1 after a while not flying it and noticed the pitch axis seems to "see-saw" a bit, especially with the pitch damper on, but even without it. makes doing a smooth pull very very difficult, which was previously not an issue
Phantom_Mark Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 (edited) Just a question so please don't shoot. Not flown the Mirage for ages, came back to it and many bits seem better and enjoying flying it more now, I did notice a weird wobble on the rudder, an oscillation almost, kinda like a dirty pot on a joystick, I disabled the damper in cockpit and the problem (jitter goes) but then the aircraft starts to wonder around as you would maybe expect ? IDK ? One of those things on the list, or acting as intended ?
