The situation is like this:

1. Before installing the mod, create a mission featuring the flyable F-16C, best to assign it to another livery
2. Install the F-16I mod
3. Open the mission created above, now your flyable plane becomes the F-16I, the livery used on the F-16C will be reset. Because almost all the original F-16C liveries do not work with the F-16I. It is a headache even though it makes perfect sense they are not compatible. But the reason why it takes the F-16C liveries is beyond me.
4. You can still change it back to the good old "F-16C" using ME, but you have to painstakingly change back many of the plane's parameters, like how ME treats any plane change -- speed, radio, livery (cannot find from the list of the original F-16C anymore), load outs, fuel/chaff/flare/gun settings, etc.

Take an analogy: The great F-22A mod requires one to have the F-15C module. Installing the F-22A mod retains F-15C as flyable, but it  does not replace the F-15C in any of the missions. Also, the liveries of F-22A do not take from F-15C either. 

The reluctance of the mod team to address this issue puzzles me and forbids me from enjoying.

as i said on the discord, i will make a version that is as an addon to the F-16C once no bugs will be found on the current version.
i made the Sufa the "main" version because of the sounds. when adding more versions of the F-16 only one can have the F-16 sounds. the others will have generic sound.

My humble advice is to practice, and soon we´ll see you doing AAR with the boom.

I have less hours in the Viper than in the Hornet (i´m more a carrier ops guy) and i started from zero and went to hero. Usually if i do a free flight or weapons employment training mission i "oblige" myself to do always a AAR for keep profiency, i´m always practicing despite i´m feel confident in Viper AAR (i try harder scenarios with night AAR with bad weather etc).

How can I make the F-16D/ F-16D No spine  the default plane? so I can fly it online. 

 

Also the 370 gallon fuel tank skin does not have textures on the Royal Moroccan air force skin. Do you know who made the skin ?  as I would love them to make it work on the CFT mod. For some reason the Polish, Turkish and HAF skins work on the CFT standalone mode but not this one...

Apart from the Hornet, this won't make sense for obvious reasons, but apart from the Hornet, the only other plane I can refuel in the air most of the time is the Harrier.....

hey, there is no option to make the F-16D the default plane at the moment, PAF,TAF,HAF,MAF skins works, you need to install the skins here:
P:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\CoreMods\aircraft\F-16C\Liveries\F-16I
yes on the F-16I livery folder.

The MAF works on F-16 block 50 but the 370 gallon fuel tank does not have a texture(600  gallon works).  Are the  PAF,TAF,HAF,MAF skins meant to work on the F-16I? as they don't seem to.

Any chance you can release a CFT & Tail only mod only like you did before? Maybe add the weapons as well?

The PAF,TAF,HAF,MAF skins are for the F-16C not for the Sufa.
i made a version that is only the addons for the F-16C, i will update it soon.

In real life AR is fun but challenging

1. Make little inputs. Fix one thing first, If you do all three at once you will PIO and fall off boom. I used to fix elevation then left or Right then In and Out

2. Know your airplane.  The 10 naturally flies to center but a long time to get there.  If you put a large flight input watch out

3. It is a formation position. Watch what the Pilot Director Indicators (PDI) says and your formation visual references.  Are you in position or out of position.

4. Captain Bars. If everything good you should see Green on Elevation and Green on Extension. We call that in the USAF the Captain's Bar

5. Trim, Trim, Trim
