Snow in 2.8 please

Snow has never vanished from DCS. You just need to use the old weather system (select weather preset "NOTHING" in the mission editor and then configure it for winter).

I'm not sure if snow works with the new weather system now. Haven't tried that in a while. :dunno:

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

Snow works now. But it requires temps to be quite lower then 0 deg celcius (5 or 10) for it to appear.

Which you can't always set. I wasn't able to set a temp lower the +2 Deg C on South America Map in May. That's dumb.

But quite realistic.
"Autumn (March–May) is generally mild. Some southern natives forests and vineyards display red and orange autumn foliage, especially in mid-April. Frost arrives notably earlier in the south and later in the north. Mean temperatures can exceed 22 °C (72 °F) in the northern parts of the country, while they can touch 16 °C (61 °F) in most of the central parts of the country, and less than 6 °C (43 °F) at the higher altitudes."

Winter starts in June there.
