Comms indicate mission success, and I get indications to contact carrier using normal comms. I do so and land, but a few times I did not get a mission complete message, and ended with score 50. One example track here. It might be because I got a W/O (despite using ACLS)? I have not tested enough to confirm if that's the case. There is currently a reported bug with landing events not being triggered. That could be what's causing the problem.
Sedlo Posted August 1, 2024 Author Posted August 1, 2024 (edited) @PawlaczGMD Make sure you've got the latest update to the campaign. 2024-07-22. I think I got all of them updated to fix the landing event, but it's possible I missed one. Edited August 1, 2024 by Sedlo My Youtube Channel MY DCS MISSIONS

epolta Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 Sedlo I’m having a DCS crash every time on mission 4 called “retribution” - one time it crashed while I was still in the orbit and getting ready to push and the next three times it crashed when I was within 20 seconds of releasing my bombs on the bunker. Downloaded latest version yesterday and still have the issue. Any ideas? Let me know if you need like logs or something. thanks! SOB

Sedlo Posted August 15, 2024 Author Posted August 15, 2024 Bold Cheetah Updated to version 2024-08-15 2024-08-18 - Updated Mission 9. The radio transmission logic in DCS has changed/broke FM radio communications. I've had to replace radio transmissions with "Sound To" triggers. There is a chance some audio may not play if two simultaneous transmissions occur. I've also changed the design of both versions as well. 2 My Youtube Channel MY DCS MISSIONS
Jasonmoofang Posted September 2, 2024 Posted September 2, 2024 Hey Sedlo! Following up from my comment on user files. I'm consistently getting crashes on mission 7 sometime around the actual bombing over Bandar Abbas. Redownloaded the latest files on latest DCS version and tried it again last night and sure enough it crashed as I'm pulling into the dive over the target. Attaching logs! Not sure what's going on dcs.log-20240901-182713.zip
Sedlo Posted September 2, 2024 Author Posted September 2, 2024 Hey @Jasonmoofang! Thanks for the crash log. I've run the mission now through twice and could not produce the error. I do see that you are running several mods, please try disabling ALL of them and run the mission again. Unofficial mods are often the cause of crashes like this. 1 My Youtube Channel MY DCS MISSIONS
drizzt1700 Posted September 9, 2024 Posted September 9, 2024 Really enjoying the campaign so far! I truly can't believe this is a free campaign; @Sedlo I'd love to drop you a ko-fi or something to compensate you for all this work you put in. Hit a snag on Mission 4: Retribution. The briefing calls for a delay fuse on the bomb, but I don't see an efuz option on my stores page so don't know how to set a delay fuse. I think this may be due to a ~May fusing update, but specifics on this are a bit sparse. How should I approach this? I realize this may be a more general DCS question but I've googled around like mad and came up empty. Drop with an inst fuse? Set a delay some other way? Thanks!
Sedlo Posted September 10, 2024 Author Posted September 10, 2024 Hey, @drizzt1700! Very happy to hear you're enjoying the campaign so far! Yes, it's the fuse issue again. I just worked out a fix, but have to run out the door. I will post it tomorrow. In the meantime, you can "rearm" on the deck and make the nose fuze plugged. That should solve it as a temp. fix. 1 My Youtube Channel MY DCS MISSIONS
drizzt1700 Posted September 10, 2024 Posted September 10, 2024 Thanks for the tip! Successfully completed that mission last night by opting for the tail fuse which I noticed in the mission planner has a preset delay. Either the cone plugs are not necessary for penetrating hard targets or the command post was soft enough. Shame that this small fusing update has caused so much confusion and indeed borked some built in training missions and so on, but that's DCS I suppose @Sedlo Truly, fantastic campaign. I understand there's some complexity in why it was released for free rather than as official DLC but like, it's got great VA, mission design is interesting, it strikes the right balance of authenticity and fun, and most importantly—you're still out here actively maintaining it, unlike so many DLC campaigns that are riddled with issues and no longer actively supported (cough, rising squall, *sads*). Is there any way I can venmo/ko-fi/paypal/etc you a few bucks for Bold Cheetah? Goodness knows you've earned it 2

Take your time, really excited to see it when it's ready. Not to be that guy....but if becoming a blessed 3rd party developer is challenging, not the best deal for you, too much red tape etc, I personally feel like you have the track record to release 1-2 missions for free to give the community a taste of what the campaign is all about, and then release the others on gumroad, patreon or a similar platform. Personally I'd happily pay $15 for Bold Cheetah from what I've seen thusfar. Seriously the show of force intro mission I think is my favorite DCS scenario I've played. I fire it up regularly when I want to relax. 1
bruto12 Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 Thanks to Sedlo for this gorgeous effort and the excellent outcome. But I need to report this. Mission n. 6, landing path, ACLS engaged, on time, all comms with ATC performed, but when I am going to land, an F18 hornet is parked on the edge of the CV, so I crash with it Tried a couple of time, but that fuc***in idiot is always sitting there... Do I miss something? Cheers from Italy.
Sedlo Posted November 12, 2024 Author Posted November 12, 2024 No, I'm trying to figure out why this is happening... I hope to have an answer for you soon. 1 My Youtube Channel MY DCS MISSIONS

Sedlo Posted November 20, 2024 Author Posted November 20, 2024 (edited) Hey folks! Sorry, have been busy the last few weeks. I do have a fix for mission 6 but it’s going to have to wait until next week for… reasons. I don’t know if you saw my Twitter post the other day, but I have some good/bad news. For the next update onwards (hopefully temporary) the Supercarrier module is going to be needed to play this campaign. I’ve always strived for the best of immersion with this campaign, and I know that the upcoming deck crew will certainly add to that. BUT….. The deck crew will NOT be available on the USS Stennis at launch. As it stands right now, today, if you own the Supercarrier, on the Stennis you get all the catapult crews and enhanced comms. This will not be the case once the flight deck directors are added next patch. I’ve been told that DCS will be looking to address this, but as it stands now, deck crew on the Stennis not function for Supercarrier owners on release. This is a pretty major downgrade for those players, who from what I’ve been told, make up the majority of my campaign users. so, I’ve made the hard decision to change the carrier in Bold Cheetah to a Supercarrier ship, the USS George Washington. Yes, that means that going forward after the next update, Supercarrier will be required to play Bold Cheetah. At least for the time being…. If ED is able to bring functionality of flight deck directors to the Stennis, I will change it back. I know this news will suck for many of you. I really tried to give folks without the Supercarrier a chance to play Bold Cheetah, and until the next update, it worked very well. What can say is that right now, Supercarrier is 50% off. That’s $25.00 USD. I know that can be a lot of money for some folks, but I think this price is the best it’s ever going to be and I honestly think it is well worth the money, especially with the new carrier deck directors. They really add a new dimension to the immersion. Truly, they do. It was a tough decision to come to, believe me I have agonized over it for the last week, but I think going forward. It’s the best course of action for me and for the campaign. Again, if the flight deck crew will be functional for the USS Stennis in the future, I will switch it back. I hope that everyone is OK with this decision, and if you have any comments or questions about it, either way, please feel free to get a hold of me and I can discuss it further with you. Love to you all, Sedlo Screenshot from Baltic's campaign... Not mine, but you get the idea. It looks great. Edited November 20, 2024 by Sedlo 3 My Youtube Channel MY DCS MISSIONS

miguelaco Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 I just finished mission 6, Iron Hand, and it’s been a blast so far, thank you. I had to repeat mission 6 a couple of times since ACLS seems it’s not correctly handling the weather conditions. Everything seems good until the last moments, as the aircraft is touching down really hard and got its gear damaged. Anyone experienced this? On my third attempt I had to land manually and I passed, but I thought ACLS would be capable of handling this.
Sedlo Posted December 2, 2024 Author Posted December 2, 2024 It should be ok to use ACLS for most cases. Was it normal until just before touchdown, or was it having trouble keeping control of the jet? There is a bit of an intentional windshear at around 1500 ft or so, I put that in for a bit of a challenge. My Youtube Channel MY DCS MISSIONS
miguelaco Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 I would say it’s normal until just before touchdown. I will try to replicate the same conditions and repeat the recovery in order to have more data. Hopefully I’ll come back with a track too. First time I tried I didn’t realize the aircraft was too heavy and thought that could be the cause, but on a second and third attempts, I dumped fuel and landed at 33000 lbs. 1
