cptmoose Posted Tuesday at 04:31 PM Posted Tuesday at 04:31 PM Having a problem with Infantry Near Beaches. Attempting to make a beach landing mission and have LCVs drive up to shore, Then Blufor units spawning in on the beach amongst the Obstacles but they just stand their. I have tried changing up the waypoints, giving them switch waypoint command. Set Status to Green. Nothings working I feel like its a pathing problem. I move them from the beach into the green area and they start moving like they should. Its on Normandy 2.0 coast line by Vearville.

Could you perhaps upload your mission so we can see all the details? 1

Good job. Cheers Slippa. I never put the crayons away, its just that I've got so many colouring-in books to full now, with not enough time! But slowly improving textures & adding on the side, when I get a chance. There are only so many ways to skin the cat with just one infantry figure, but giving it a good go, as they add greatly to immersion in WWI missions. Should be able to share the full pack some time in the near future 3 1
Nealius Posted Thursday at 12:43 AM Posted Thursday at 12:43 AM (edited) Nice skins on the Brit kit! I have to wonder though, what was ED’s source material for these because there are a lot of inaccuracies on the modeling for both Yanks and Tommies (wrong bayonet, Bren pouches sit too low, P37 straps too long, rolled blanket instead of gas mask pouch, etc.). Slippa Posted Thursday at 01:46 PM Posted Thursday at 01:46 PM They look great . Shame ED don’t seem interested in populating our fields and valleys. I’m still waiting for some ground crew on the airfields. Little black Lab to greet me, all o that. 1

bussardi Posted Friday at 03:24 AM Posted Friday at 03:24 AM You're doing a great job, It should really liven up the picture. I'm sorry to ask, but are you going to paint the enemy in the same way? 1

Even though the infantry are very limited in DCS, you can add liveries to the crewed vehicles. Add as crew to the empty guns & make them crouch with custom arguments, also to ships (sometimes!) 1
