A maybe stupid question, but then again who knows.

Many of us had purchased the FC3 bundle containing of course Su33 and sometime later purchased Supercarrier that also offered the Su-33.

So now we have the Su33 from FC3 license and an an extra license for Su-33 in our accounts.

What if ED makes it possible to get a refund in miles for this extra Su-33 license in order to buy something else. Or give us the opportunity to gift this extra license to a friend.

That has the same vibe as

„I made the decision to buy the F-16 for full price at a certain point in time. Now it is 50% in a sale - can I have a 50% refund?“.

That‘s not how it works.

In the end it is a point of view matter. And has nothing to do with money Su33 is very cheap, it is more of a principle thing. IMHO marketing wise it is a win win for ED. We either pay more money along with the refund to buy a new module, or by giving it as a gift it we might make a friend also buy another module after this one. Anyway...

I paid full price for Item A and was given Item B for FREE. I paid full price for Item B a long time ago. I do not want Item B so Give me free money for Item B that I was given for FREE and paid ZERO amount for.

You give me $5.00 to buy a Hamburger for lunch. I tell you I will pay you back on payday. Payday comes and the Burger Joint has the same Hamburger on sale at 50% off so I pay you back $2.50

With Respect Sir. I applaud your point of view effort. This Idea went down faster then I do in a Dog Fight.

I paid full price for a burger last week. This week they are offering a buy one get one free deal, which I buy. It would be nice to be able to give away the extra burger since I can't eat both, rather than throwing it in the trash.

I think it's a good idea man.

For me, I wait on sales for modules that I may be on the fence about. If it’s one I want, I just get it and yes I have been in that issue of FC3. Maybe you can give the spare to someone else? However, I don’t see getting anything for free because you have an extra, that’s what the sales are for. Don’t know for sure if that’s possible, but might be something to give maybe to a player?

But this exactly is my point... If getting even a partial refund seems irrational as some of you seem to believe, then why not be able to gift the Su33 to someone who does not have it ?

Oh, that's what I'm seeing?!  Thought it was some mod I lost track of.  Gonna have to check it out.  Thanks, ED!

Also, does it have a clickable cockpit?  Can you install the clickable cockpit mod for just the Su-33 if it doesn't?

No, its an FC3 aircraft.

You can install it, but pretty sure that it will be active for every FC3 aircraft. I tried the Mod, but it felt odd as most cockpit controls that can be clicked have no animation.
