Yesterday I was flying at night and was trying out the various cockpit lighting switches. I noticed that the switch for the real panel lights (on the electrical system control panel) does not turn any lights on the rear panel. I assume this is a bug.

Thanks.

I think I found a bug. The rear panel (AUX panel) lighting is not working.

One can flip the switch RAlt+RShift+L and turn the brightness knob but there is no light turning on.

I wanted to report this, but I see that it has been already. More than a year ago. Can something be done here?

Internal report bumped.

In the meantime, I've just found out a workaround:

  1. Open .\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Ka-50_3\Cockpit\Scripts\clickabledata.lua
  2. Look for a line which has the "P-CONTR-BRIGHT-PTR" keyword.
  3. In this line, replace 451 by 1017.

Please note that the switch will not cut out the light. And the knob won't be animated anymore. However, the light intensity will change if you use your scrollwheel over the knob.
