Apologies, the question was not meant to offend. I am greatly impressed with what you have accomplished and not complaining at all.  You are providing something for us that Bellsimtek stated they would do years ago.  I am looking forward to its release and more updates. It will compliment the Free OH-6A on the way and the UH-1 in game already.

I'm Chill, just wanted to explain my process, no offense taken man, sometimes texting can cause this, as i'm not a native english speaker, pardon me if i was misunderstood, sometimes its difficult find a better way of saying things.

Turret aim by mouse input, turret slewing works with headtrack and VR point of view and key input too.
Animations will come after i got a few things sorted, like the boresight and maybe a ccip indicator.

Out of curiosity, are you able to say approximately how far along you are with the project?

I can't really put this to numbers, or a specific date, all i can say is progress has been made on a daily basis,  and i continue as i overcome the difficuulty walls that lies on each challenge.

Between this and the OH-6A, I am looking forward more to these 2 mods right now than I am the Third Party stuff we have been waiting on.  Very fortunate to have such talented individuals making these Iconic Vietnam Helos for us.  Thank you for the continued hard work and love you are pouring into this! It will be flown for many many hours for sure!
