I think that changing the database should be easy (even if you need to do it in future updates) its just copy and paste "M92_" in regular places. BUT is possible that you will face DCS crashes. (Or maybe not, in that case let me know)

I can’t find the outposts. One of my favorite parts of this mod. Is it under a different category? I also am not finding the crews under statics or infantry. Possibly typo's with the lua? Edit: I saw some assets were removed. Any way to allow accessibility to 2.3 as well? Some of my most heavily used assets were not included in 3.0.

Can you make 2.3 available? Many of the most popular/used assets were not included in 3.0.

Just be aware that some of the names changed beyond just M92_. So, for example, "M92_TentD" is now "Tent04", so I would proceed with caution is all. I hope you can make it work for you.

The crews are a separated download link (when you access to the gumroad and "buy" the asset-pack it will redirect you to a page with two links)... About the outpost are named HESCOS_ and Sandbags. Only 3 very old outpost are no used anymore. 

I cant granted you a download link for a previous version, but if someone saved the file and want to share it with you I do not have problems with it.

Below is a pic of the Outpost that guys are asking about. You can see how nicely it integrated into one of our FARP designs. I think it was a "fan favorite". I could not find it represented anywhere in the 3.0 pack and didn't see anything under hesco or sandbag that looked similar. If I missed it, please let me know. If there is a chance to bring it back in the future, that would be awesome.

Can anyone provide a download link for 2.3? I should have backed mine up! A lot of my user-created missions used the HD outpost. Thanks!

following the discussion about backwards compatibilty a few posts back, I too have over a 100 missions that heavily rely on this pack. 3 of my squadron mates all have over 30-50 missions with this mod pack and are now facing the same problem.

At this moment, i cannot see a solution to this problem other than abandoning this and future updates, and sticking with the old version.

Switching mods live is not an option for us, since the entire squadron synchronizes its mods with our own repository. We cannot ask people to keep switching the mod version on a per mission basis.

either a tool or some smart workaround is the only option. And i don't really see that happening. I would even pay some money for that if someone is smart enough and able to do it.

A smart 'search and replace' and then hope for the best doesn't sound like an option either.

So we are really out of options here, other than abandoning the updates. 😢

100%. I love this asset pack, been an important part of my mission editing. I reverted to 2.3. Even then, some of my most important mission assets are no longer included. I would highly recommend keeping all the original assets and keep adding, instead of picking and chosing assets to no longer include, which all happen to be very popular amongst mission designers. In my latest mission, here is Khalil the Assasin's IED factory from the ISIS-K faction "Agents of Allah" in central Syria using the HD outposts and other assets not included anymore on 3.0:

@Massun92 hey i used to overlap the revetments to create some with the length i need. Like x4 to short, x8 to long so i kinda made a x6 by overlapping two x4s. But that doesnt work anymore, they get staked on top. Doe that only happen to me? Is there a way around it? Would you consider making a x6? 😄

If you put the "origin" of the element one over the other they will stack. If the origin(middle point) is just in the side of the other elemebt will not overlap. So, with 2 of the x4 you should ve able to put them together

Im new to this, just downloaded the asset pack into the mod folder but when in the mission editor i cant see any of the massuns92 kit? See attached pics

Hiya, i tried that first and still couldnt see anything, so i deleted it and added it to mods. Ill add Tech in mods folder again and try again. Any other ideas? Do you have a screen shot of your path?

Ok so ive deleted the asset pack from mods. Ive added a new folder "tech" in mods folder. Ive downloaded the asset pack into

Cdrive,User, name, saved games, dcs open beta, mods, tech. 

 

Still cant seem to see the asset pack in mission editor?
