Well, it’s only Early Access so you might be happier holding off buying it  until the AI WSO is included.

exactly, I held off, Im actually holding off on most purchases going forward with DCS as its the same thing over and over, new modules with core mechanics still lacking. I know if I bought this jet it would be like every other one, I learn it, master it and get bored quickly

Yep, it's good to have options

Which 'core mechanics' are you refering to?

How is it DCS fault?

I hope that it will be possible to independently perform the full startup procedure from the front seat only, without moving to the backseat to flip the few switches that the WSO needs to switch. By that I mean maybe they will be assignable on the keyboard in the F-15E Pilot section. I should put this in the wishlist section as it's not realistic for me to switch seats in flight.

Switching the WSO stuff from the front seat is not realistic either.

They've already said they are doing that.

Binding it on keyboard just work as IC command to WSO to switch button, much more realistic than climbing into his seat.

Sending IC request is fine and that's what probably be available.

The two hand controllers in the back for the WSO are not movable sticks. All the slewing is still done by mini-sticks at the top of them under the thumb.

This isnt true, they are the TDC curse for RHC and LHC in the axis commands

Being a WSO is all fun and no responsibilities. Also only a WSO can do this (it's really hard to do in a single seater):

What he said is true. Those TDC commands for RHC and LHC are for the slew controls on the controllers, as he said.

AH-64, F-14 and Mi-24 you can also fly alone and even switch between stations. The difference is that the AI takes over the second station, so you can operate whatever you want yourself. If there is no WSO AI for good morning, well, you will probably survive, but the model is neutered for good morning by about 30% of fun.

At least the basic functions like reports, fighter protection or taking over the controls (autopilot) should be there. It's not good news that it won't be there right away. We'll probably see in a year, not earlier looking at the progress of work.

I actually agree with you on this. But it wouldn't be worth delaying the Early Acsess release over. Hopefully one day they will get it figured out.  But its still a very fun to fly jet. It's only going to get better going forward.
