HF8 works perfectly fine in DCS! Next Level Racing HF8 seems to be a remake of Realteus Forcefeel. The cabling and the control box looks very similar and SimShaker for Aviators does even recognise HF8 as a ForceFeel device. Skip NLR:s software, install the free version of SimShaker for Aviators and use HF8 as a ForceFeel device and enjoy the rumbling feedback in DCS!

Thanks, I picked one up, their simracing integration is good, flight is currently not great so I'll give simshaker a go.

As i understood the next level racing software is actually not compatible with DCS? Can anyone confirm please?

from what I read, you can use SSA for the NLR choosing Forcefeel compabilty on SSA software but I could be mistaken

I know a couple of people who have them and seem to enjoy it. Not sure if they are using telemetry but will ask next time I see them. 

Easy to buy and return in Aus as they are sold at typical retailers

p.s i read somewhere recently that someone is releasing a under $300 USD transducer based equivalent. That would probably be the way to go rather than spinning weight motors

I have the HF8 and integrated with SSA. I also use this in conjunction with a Buttkicker Pro. I love the combination of the 2. The HF8 works great with SSA and provides some more subtle and detailed vibration where the Buttkicker provides the bigger hits and shakes. They match together well. I have had no issues with it at all and while NLR has indicated they will implement DCS with their software, I have no intention of switching away from SSA.

Both systems for pros and cons. Just sitting over transducers might be less confortable than smaller spinning motors

AWG received this product for review and I have done an initial setup video and will be forwarding it to another AWG team member (Tekada, our former Army Blackhawk Pilot) for his assessment.  More on that soon.

I have one coming next week after my jet seat packed up, like you I would not lose SSA. Do I need to do anything to get it working with SSA or is it just plug and play?

Don't forget to set it to force Feel and all settings are default "50" so may or may not "feel" anything depending on what you fly so turn them up and work your way back from there for fine tunning.

Got mine today…two days earlier as expected.

I just set it up and did a first testflight with the Apache.

wooooh…is that cool! A new immersive level!😍

Seems to work great with SSA. Will also do some fine tuning the following days!
